The menu options they give are so limited you can’t actually order anything you want. And the drivers never read the notes section. Cool idea, terribly executed.

I received a 5 dollar off coupon but it processed the order without taking the 5 dollars off??‍♂️

Finally an order was successful! Bottom line. It may take a little more time (not much) to get delivered compared to uber eats. But if they have the diversity of restaurants they claim that are in business with them, it is probably worth it. Try it!

Door dash ok but restaurants and drivers not

I ordered a pizza from New York Pizza. I called them to let them know that I forgot to add two sides of Ranch and if I could pay for it over the phone. They told me I couldn’t buy it after the order is done from door dash. I said I’m buying directly from you but they refused. Then after asking for the third time they said we could give the ranch to the driver but she needs to pay a $1 for them and you could refund her back and I said ok. The driver text me and tells she doesn’t have money on her and can’t get it for me. What kind of driver doesn’t have money on them for change or something? So a lesson I learned from this do not tip the driver before hand on the app just in case it doesn’t help you and do not order from New York pizza again the customer service is not welcoming. Other than, door dash is great.

Ok so everyone has that one bad experience...in my case expecting food at 9:20 and the app keeps telling me it’s 5 minutes away and keeps being delayed. 10:00 rolls around, they are obviously having issues. The order is suddenly canceled. I’m left with no dinner and what is do they offer me? Account credit for my purchase!!! Not any additional “I’m sorry”, not credit to my credit card. A simple oh we messed up but your money is still ours just try us again.

The app has been super confusing lately showing free or $1 delivery on the list of all restaurants but when you click on it the fee is much higher. In addition I’ve been receiving promotional emails including one today stating next order I would have $5 off automatically in my checkout which never appears. The app just seems super disjointed and incorrect information keeps appearing.

Just used this service for delivery of Fatburgers and the burgers were delivered very fast, and they weren't cold! I love the restaurants they deliver from and I plan on using them again!

Beware If Order Is Incorrect!

Do not take the cheap credit offered if your order is not right. When a restaurant failed to send the correct food, DD refused to send a Dasher back out to get the remaining items because I already accepted a $5.50 credit. It was the restaurant’s fault, but I would expect DD to work with me... provide the credit (which pretty covered just the delivery and service fee) AND offer to go get the rest of my food. In summary, I spent $31.00 on 10 chicken fingers! I no longer will support DD because they do not value their returning customers who also tip very well.

I ordered for the first time through DoorDash - three dishes from a local Chinese restaurant. Upon arrival one of the dishes was incorrect (eggplant vs green beans). I called the restaurant to correct the error and they informed me that they were out of green beans and the “dasher” had ok’d the substitution. To add insult to injury in checking the order history in the app it had been updated to reflect the new order as if that is what I had intended to order in the first place. So as a delivery service you have one job - to deliver what I order without interpretation. Clearly too much to expect
