My Dolly "Helper" shows up 20 minutes late (he made sure to start the clock before he arrived), just in time to help me with the things that would require 2 people. He was unhappy about helping me move my sleeper sofa in, so I told him to take the lead and I would just follow his instructions. We got the sofa jammed in the door, and he told me to try to jam it through from my side. What I could not see, was that his side was pushing straight into the drywall of my new front hall, making a huge divot I now have to pay $150 for. Once the sofa got stuck, he looked at his watch and said the hour I had paid for was over, and he had to go to work, leaving me with a sofa stuck in my door and a fine I will have to pay. I had to get my girlfriend to come over, and we got the sofa through by removing the door, with no damage done to anything. Next time I'm getting professional movers. Edit: my Dolly has since been refunded, so I'll bump the review up by 2 stars.

I only needed to move one piece of furniture, but didn't have access to a vehicle or labor. This was much more convenient than hiring a full moving crew.

i needed a last minute helper this weekend for my move and my Dolly was assigned minutes after i posted the ad. i have used this app before and will definitely use it again. Like Uber but for muscle!

As a professional organizer/downsizer I’d be lost without them. I’ve used them maybe 10x in the past year and a half and have never had a bad experience. Each time they’ve arrived on time, ready to work, and always gentle with moving items. Use them!!!

Do NOT use. Dolly drivers and helpers don’t make as much as you think

The prices for Dolly task aren’t high enough for the work being done and not enough to compensate for traveling the job locations.

I found an excellent piece at a used furniture shop but had no way to get my findings home. The staff recommended Dolly and in about an hour after posting my request the job was scheduled! Pick up and delivery was great.

Do not use Dolly. Vittorio ripped my 91 year old father off. He moved a few things into an assisted living home and complained the whole time. My father paid him in cash 100$ and tipped him 40$ and he denies getting paid any cash. Dolly refuses to believe my 91 year old father and said our helper says he got no cash. Buyer beware. Dolly is a bad company with bad customer support. They are refusing to refund their charge to my credit card. We paid 240$ for a 96$ move. Shameful.

I'd seen the ads on the bus plenty of times, then I found a new/used refrigerator on Facebook for $20... I was able to get a Dolly driver for the following day. I could've hired two people but I figured what the heck, I could use the exercise, so a went with one guy. With a lot of muscle and teamwork we moved the fridge and got it to my place within an hour. I am loving this app, now I know who to call when it's time for me to move. Be sure to tip these people, they work hard for the money.
