Better version of the app needed

Very disappointed with this app buffers every 2 seconds and freezes while watching content

The app works good, except it does not allow casting which would be great for those of us that want to watch on a larger screen. When I first started with Dish I was told this was possibly by tech, but ended up being untrue.

The plethora of issue of 2020 that existed with this app STILL 6 months later,also existing in 2021! What a great way to start the New year Dish engineering team and what a great way to keep the bar low! Fortunately, I have the highly reliable Xfinity app as a back up to watch on the go with the same Devices and internet that I use to attempt to use the dish NOWHERE app! That was a hint people- it’s not my/our equipment, it’s the app that is flawed/horrible!
Why I love dish

I love dish network! I had direct for a looong time and they kept raising my bill and taking channels away. I love dish anywhere....never miss my Pens hockey again!
Getting difficult to use

It asks for authentication every time I open app. Didn’t used to be like this. A pain.

Only works with hopper devices

I couldn’t find my remote and tried to use this app with my older DVR, and it is useless. Dish, do you not understand that not everyone is using your latest, newest, most *expensive* technology?
Terrible new App

The old App was seamless. It was the reason I continued to stay with Dish all these years. I travel a lot and the App came in handy. Now I’m trying to watch a recorded game as I write this, it does nothing but skip and stall with horrible picture quality. This is happening everywhere and on multiple devices. Netflix works great, Amazon Prime works great, heck even the PAC-12 Network App works great. Dish seems to be throttling down the stream. It’s not just frustrating, it’s pathetic. Now I feel like getting even by canceling everything.
