What happened to pause & rewind on iPad???

I’ve kept recent with updates, but pause/rewind haven’t been available for some time.


Convenience with Connection Issues

This is an amazing service to be able to watch your favorite shows anywhere. However, even when connected to a stable wireless internet service, DISH streaming slacks in quality. Sometimes the show won’t appear in HD (not a big problem) but more times than normal the service cuts out and stops completely. This is just as true when using cellular data though that’s understandable. Still like the convenience though.


App crashes

Every single time I log into this app it will fail the loading of the actual shows! This is being used on an iPhone 13 with 5g. It doesn’t matter if I’m on 5g, 4g, or Wi-Fi the app will load the ads all day long but when you are trying to watch the show it errors out. Oh and good luck in trying to resume where you actually left off from because the app will just say here’s where you were and it may be 5 minutes into the show or five minutes left, and you have only watched 20 minutes of a 45 min show… so that’s cool….! Also I wish we could give negative star ratings because this app is heinously horrendous and a fail from a company that charges more than fair to there customers, maybe at least have an app that functions since you price gouge the ever-loving crap out of us anyway!

I’m located in the Eastern Time Zone but this update has me located the Central Time Zone so the programming’s off by an hour. I can’t find anywhere within the app to fix this. Pretty useless if you ask me.

Recordings don’t show up in the app until the next day…why??? A few years ago this app worked great but ever since the overhaul there have been issues :(

Update: As I expected, STILL not fixed! I have sent my info in many times. Not doing your work. Don’t put out a new update until you have tested it! Seems pretty simple to me. Every upgrade I can’t see my transferred shows and I complain a dozen or so times an it gets fixed until the next update and same thing. I can’t count how many times this has happened. Save yourself grief and don’t choose dish. Cost keeps going up but they can’t hire programmers with half a brain. Same canned responses but it STILL isn’t fixed but prices going up and this app is getting worse and worse. The only reason we stayed with dish was this app

It is a good app. It’s a little delayed on live TV. The quality is a little blurry depending on how your WiFi is.

You advertise “Dish Anywhere” yet no matter if I have all my bars with 5G, I spend more time buffering and reconnecting than I do watching what I am trying to do. This has been an ongoing problem forever now and seems to be unfixable at this point. It is absolutely ridiculous this problem has been persistent for so long and yet there is no solution. At this point, pull your app off the store because it’s basically inoperable anyway. Waste of time trying to watch anything on this app with a data connection, including 5G compatible devices.

This app is absolutely horrible. Let’s you watch commercials with no problem whatsoever, but when your DVR’d show starts, forget it. Starts buffering immediately, even on Wi-Fi or 5G. When it does start working and you try to skip back to get what you missed, buffers for 5 minutes, then starts back wherever it wants. It’s a shame you can’t give it 0 stars. I’ve been a dish customer for over 20 years and you would think that for every customer that they have paying $150 a month, they could afford to pay the best I.T. Techs in the world to fix the app. HORRIBLE!!!
