app not worth it

app closes every 5 minutes, closes when using split screen, buffers or don’t load program, overall the app is very frustrating and these issues make it hard to get through half of a program
Transfer from DVR to iPhone doesn’t work

I called Dish over a year ago and told them they had an issue with the Transfer on this app. They said they were working on it and it’s still doesn’t work.

I like this app because the stuff that is on your tv tapped is the stuff you can watch on your electronics. I consider this a portable tv.

I haven’t seen any other provider deliver such a great App service. I can program when I’m away from home or record or watch my favorite shows to see them later!

I use this App most of the time to watch shows while I am flying. the App use to work perfectly, but over the past several years it has not been as reliable. I make sure that I have a show up and running before I switch to airplane mode because if I don’t the App usually will not play. I also leave a show running or sometimes it will not work. When it does work it is outstanding!

The potential of this app is great, but you can’t watch anything without constant buffering. If you’re lucky to watch for more than 2 minutes straight the picture quality is garbage anyway. Please fix this!

Out of every streaming service out there that I’ve used, this has to be the worst. Super laggy, sounds like dial up. You can’t watch 5 seconds of anything until you catch a loading screen. Anybody out there still using cable. I suggest you switch to Sling or something cheaper and better. Dish anywhere is hands down the worst app out there. Constantly wanting me to put in my log in information and saying my password is incorrect even though I know it’s correct. I hate this app.
Has great potential, but not there yet

Good app for when you’re using it directly, but you can only use the app and nothing else. There’s no pop out screen for continuing to watch video, so if you get a text or want to check your email while streaming, you have to leave the app, lose your stream entirely, then restart the stream. Same is true for casting. If your in a hotel room and want to cast on a bigger screen you have to stay in the app for it to work. So, again, there’s no responding to texts, checking email, etc. while casting or streaming on your phone. It stops if your phone automatically locks after inactivity, which is pretty annoying. I pay $100+ a month plus, and the app can’t do basic features other competitor apps let you do.
