Unstable/ Unreliable

This is the most unreliable app I’ve ever used. It rarely works. I keep my 0S updated and all of my other Apps updated on my new iPhone. The DIRECTV App is the only one that never seems to work right. Currently, there is a bug that is not even allowing me to open the App, it goes straight to the App Store.

This app has been crap since it came out. It doesn’t work more often than it does, it always crashes. I set it up to fast download my DVR shows so I came watch them on my phone. It says it successfully downloaded them, than I go to watch them and it says nothing is there. The app constantly un-syncs from my DVR. Right now, I can’t even get Into the app, just keeps telling me “Unknown Error” even uninstalled and reinstalled. This app is just pure garbage. I wish DirecTV did something to fix this cause clearly they don’t care about their customers since they keep on rolling out crappy service and products to them.

I tried numerous times logging in the app to watch the Super Bowl and it kept saying error unknown. This isn’t the first time we’ve had problems.

No matter what I do to use the app, I can NOT GET INTO IT. I’ve gotten help, changed and updated what I was suppose to do, and still says error ? I called to speak to someone, and I still can’t get into the app. That was no help either. Very dissatisfied, not being able to use Direct on our iPhones and iPad. My husband and myself are long time customers.

I have to reset my password almost daily when it decides it doesn’t want to recognize my login or password that is stored. I can’t watch all my channels on my iPhone but is available on my iPad.

App might work half the time, shows go in and out, some channels don’t work (especially if they are a competitor). With so many streaming platforms that work almost every time, is it so hard to make a dependable platform to watch on the go. On a side note. The app is decent when it does actually work.

For being DIRECT TV you would expect it to be top notch and it’s not that way. That app lags basically all the time. Takes forever to load and it doesn’t even show your playlist. Very horrible app!
Inconsistent performance. Doesn’t work sometimes. . Poor

Can’t get channel 213 MLB on cell phone or IPad and no explanation for it! Overall Ap doesn’t work 10% of the time. Annoying.
