Terrible App!

First off I’d say it’s 60% chance this app works each time you open it. But the issues don’t stop there. It almost feels like AT&T is giving up on DirecTV as a company since they came out with HBOMAX. This abandonment translates to the app and other areas of directv. Stay away.
App won’t sync with DVR properly

In the apps “playlist” which should mirror your DVR recordings, it doesn’t show up to 75% of my recordings. If that wasn’t an issue the app would be great, but limited functionality of my recordings is my biggest issue.

Don’t believe that you can take your DirecTV where ever you go. First, you won’t get all the channels you pay for in the app (I have the premium pkg), you get even less if you leave home because the app detects you’re not at home and therefore tell you need to be on your home network to work, WHICH DEFEATS THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF HAVING AN APP ON A MONKIE PHONE. Also if travel try to connect any TV, it gives a fake error message to lead you to believe the video is not being blocked, but it is. You can hear the audio but no video which means they’re blocking the video with HDCP. Content you purchased won’t even play if connected to a TV. Today I’ve been trying to follow the election just on my phone while going to stores in my local area, it’s been 50/50 connecting with 3-4 signal bars. Half the time I was getting an error message for playback. I’d have to close the app to resolve the issue. This app use to work very well, I could go over my lady’s house and we watch my premium series together. Now it’s instability & faulty features make it literally the worse app on my phone.

This app is becoming very sad. Half of the time you try to watch a live channel on your phone, it gives an error message.

This app is absolutely terrible. I try to watch sporadically, when I’m not at home... some of the time it works, most of the time it doesn’t. Disappointed

UPDATE THE APP!!!! Not working on wifi. FIX THE APP. NOT WORKING ON WIFI. FIX THE APP. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
