99% of the time this app says no data. I uninstalled it and reinstalled….. nothing. Completely pointless.

Why doesn’t the value work anymore? Why does it take so long to update the app with each iOS iteration?

Every time a new iOS comes out we have the wit weeks too months for the follow app to be updated and work again. Extremely disappointed every single time.

This is a critically important app for parents of T1D and unfortunately there are so many bugs it’s barely usable. The widget and Apple Watch app never worked (and I haven’t seen them work for anybody else’s either - I wonder how they got the captures for the App Store), the app freezes, crashes upon launch, says there is a delay syncing… And many many other more minor issues. I reported the problem to Dexcom right after the release of the new version (it has to be done over the phone and takes for eeevvveeerrr) and nothing was ever corrected. Really, they should pay a little more effort on Follow.

OK, so I am following my daughter, who is at my Ex’s about half of the time, more during school year.. She sometimes hits 400, and I get notifications for 3 hours every 5 minutes… unless I hit the (missing) mute for 3 hours button in the app (or other specified amount of time), OR if I go into the notification settings and TURN IT OFF completely, which defeats the app’s purpose… They just did an update with, as far as I can tell no changes, except it says that it is being tested to see if it works on this OS… guys, you do that BEFORE you ship it… Anyway, same issue when she goes low at 3:00 AM and I call the Ex and she says that she just ate something… great, mute for 30 minutes and go back to sleep… Not with this pile of dung! You get notified every 5 minutes, sometimes for 30 minutes if she went down to 40 before she noticed…. So either turn off notifications completely - and pray you don’t have your child DIE because of this crappy app, (ah, I mean, hope that you remember to turn it back on before it is critically needed)… Other than that, I would rate it well… But the 1 star reviews get the responses..
Fix the BG value on the watch already!

How long does it take to issue a fix for the watch? We’re going on close to a month now since Dexcom’s update broke it. I have no plan to call tech support, just to be told “We know”. Please just fix it, my 90 year old dad has had several lows now, due to my inability to glance at the watch as needed. Please just fix it.

For the past several weeks the iwatch version of the Dexcom Follow App no longer shows the numerical data—I can only see the graph. Not sure if this is related to the new IOS updates but cannot seem to get help from Dexcom on this. iPhone version works fine.

The app on the Apple Watch used to show the number but now only shows the graph. This happened after the 15.2 update. Please fix this!!

I just purchased 2 watches.One for my wife and one for my daughter who is diabetic and my daughter’s watch displays everything but my wife’s has the follow app and it displays the graphs with no numbers at all. This app is absolute trash! The Dexcom is absolute trash! The customer service is absolute trash!!! The follow app crashes about 15 times a week and it crashes for hours at a time. Be prepared to be on the phone for an over an hour while the person on the other line keeps telling you that it’s your internet,app version,or other mumbo jumbo that has nothing to do with them but with you. You spend a arm and a leg on the devices to deal with this. Definitely don’t recommend.
