When this app works as designed it’s awesome. The problem is that it only works correctly 30% of the time, the rest of the times it’s frustrating. I can’t believe Denon can’t figure out how to make an app that works even most of the times. Good stereo product but c’mon, hire a smart person to get the app working right. It isn’t that hard.

Version 3.0.0 can no longer find my X1300 after update, there is no firmware update available. With this update, this app is now completely useless

My Denon is hard wired, and at first it worked really well. Now, after a couple updates it doesn’t function at all.
3.0 Update Renders App Utterly Useless.

Have used this with my X3300W for some time. It’s a little clunky, but generally was functional. Operative word being was. With the new 3.0 update it no longer finds my AVR. If added manually the app says my AVR is incompatible. AVR reports latest firmware is installed. Now it’s utterly useless. UPDATE: After deleting the app from my iPhone and reinstalling it, the AVR is found again.

As many other reviews have said, my X3300w is no longer seen by the ‘new’ app. Wired or wireless. Manual IP says it’s incompatible ? Another classic example of “take a good app and break it.” Why oh why ??

After update, the denon app would not connect to the AVR and the app is completely useless. I even tried manually entering the ip address of the AVR.
