It has forgotten my device multiple times. Messed up the zones. Unintuitive UI. Just poorly designed and implemented. I used to love Denon. My next receiver will likely be a different brand.

Heh? Why are there so many different apps for this and why is the latest one for my new receiver say 2016.

Like the apple play but getting it to link up to main zone and zone 2 is buggy. Example, I’ll choose the receiver in apple play and everything turns on fine however receiver stays on whatever port it was before, when I go to the app to select my phone it brings up an interface in the app but won’t control it. Going back to main zone it still stays on the wrong port. Unplug the receiver and reset then it works as expected but what a pain because I have it in a cabinet.

Could not connect to abroad s740 receiver that has both WiFi and hardwire connection with my iPad. My Android phone was a nobrainer it setup so easy.

These developers are morons!! I have avr-x2200 and a avr-x1200 and it will not work with either anymore. Even if you put the IP address in. The the so called techs could only say do a hard reset which ended up killing my receivers zone 2 . This company should be ashamed to have a product this bad out there.

The app doesn’t work. It can’t find my receiver on the network 80% of the time. If you are purchasing a Denon receiver with the intent to use this app as a remote you need to look at options from other manufacturers.

Worked great, then an update killed it. I can see the AVR on the network, streaming works, but the AP won’t even turn the avr on or off, and I can’t see any settings. Worthless.
