I compare this app to a professional decibel reader and the readings were significantly less.

I downloaded dbmeter pro along with one other decibel reader program. I also have a handheld decibel reader that I have used for some time. The dbmeter pro program consistently recoded readings 15 a 20 decibels less than the other two. Common logic tells me that when I am in a room where the music is very loud, the other program as well as my hand-held recording 90 dbs are much more accurate than the average 74 reading on dbmeter pro.

Works well. Can you get measurements up to 140 dB? This one seems to max out around 105. Try breeding parrots; loudest noise you'll ever hear and live to talk about it.

Handy app to have. It's surprising how much ambient noise we have trained ourselves to ignore every day. No wonder everyone over 60 has a hearing aid.

Fun and useful! Just used the app to decide on a new car for my wife, who is sensitive to noise. Even though I don't use it professionally, I keep finding handy uses for it.
