No complaints

When I don't have my actual meter handy, this is great for a ballpark calibration of your monitoring setup.

I checked this app against 3 db meters from local stereo shops and a radio sh*ck... It was very consistent and accurate within the levels the built in mic allowed. I love it, and use it often. Great jod, and thank you!

Great app!

Pmwslo

I used this app to determine workplace safety for noise issues from pumps and machinery. It was quite accurate when compare with established standards used by our compliance group.

Great app for audiophiles and others

If you're trying to get your speakers placed Just Right this app will help you spot dead zones and bright reflective spots. As an added bonus it is a great tool in teaching your child the difference between talking and yelling. Highly recommended.

Great app.....

Very accurate no complaints!! ??

Nags Me To Rate As Soon as I Open It

Seattle Rex

After paying & before I even measure a single sound, Dev wants me to do more for him. Screw what I want or need, my phone should be used for his benefit and I should write an ad without even seeing the app. Well, alright, this is my honest experience so far. I rated. I did what you asked, accurately and honestly. We good now? Can I use my phone for me now or do you want anything else? Pop up and let me know if I can do anything else for you.

Still Works Well

Good way to measure my hearing level against the reading detected from this app. I can tell just by listening just how loud or quiet my surroundings are.

Haven't tried it

Kepawa

Didn't get a chance to try it, yet was asked to rate it. Gave it one star, it did open correctly.

Do not update or Purchase

'Austin'

Was a 5 star audio testing utility prior to its update which has severely crippled the functionality and usability experience making a simple task like a Tone Sweep cumbersome and annoying. Check out Signal Generator by Media Punk Studios for a fantastic audio testing utility, which closely resembles this applications interface before it was updated and destroyed.

Fun for restaurants.

Yes, they really are as awful as they seem, and with this app you have the data to prove it. Also, if you have inconsiderate neighbors you can document that. A fun little app that delivers on its premise.
