I don't have a professional use for this app but it is interesting to play with and see how much noise is in our environment. I probably would not be half deaf today if I had paid more attention to noise. This app quantifies the noise.
Waste of money

Tried to calibrate it to my trusty radio shack SPL meter and it wouldn't read a 65 db constant tone, even with the calibration slider turned all the way up. I also don't like that you can't switch the max, avg, and peak readings to the larger number in the center. Why did I waste my money on this??

If the UI wasn't so squirrelly and didn't move unnecessarily, it might be a good app. As it is, wow- annoying.

For what it does. No spectrogram; nothing like that- this is a simple dB meter. And it works great for what it is. UI is fine and functional.
