Doesn’t work at all

Opened it today for the first time in a while and it doesn’t work. At all. Reads zero on all dials. Checked microphone permissions and settings, deleted and reinstalled, nothing worked. Completely broken.

This app seems to underreport the actual loudness of sounds by quite a bit, which could lend the user to listen at unsafe levels. As far as I could tell, it reads 80-85db sounds around 70db. Try the free app “dBMeter” instead, seems much more accurate

This app works quite well to let me know what I am doing to my hearing.
No monthly fee!

Before trying this one I downloaded three other DB meters. In order to try them out they all required agreeing to monthly fees that began after brief trial periods of less than a week. Imagine having to pay $8 or $9 a month for an app you use occasionally! This app wanted a small one time fee up front which I agreed to.
