in Germany now
Very helpful with information, timetables and purchasing powers at your fingertips. Very glitchy especially when trying to make a purchase.

I‘ve used DB Navigator app since the first version. One of the easiest and most intuitive apps for looking up the timetables, booking the journeys, and such. Many of features are single or two taps away. So much that I hardly use the web version (bahn.de). I couldn‘t even remember the last time I used the paper tickets. I appreciate having and doing everything within this app, including adding the tickets to the Apple Wallet. I even get the alerts if there is delays or changes, which is enormous beneficial for the deaf and hard-of-hearing travellers as well as for the hearing people who sometimes have difficulties hearing the verbal announcements in a very noisy environment. DB is adding the awesome feature that substitutes the verbal announcements at the train stations so you can look through the text announcements quickly and make the arrangements accordingly. Boon for the inclement weather or disruptions due to unavoidable circumstances.
Something isn’t working

Something isn’t working. I can find a great train if I know the transfer stops and I search the different trains separately. But if I search end to end it doesn’t give me that choice. Something is broken.
New version dysfunctional

App constantly cutting off and returning to the homepage in the middle of trip planning and payment. Tried to send a help message but the app also cut off. The app essentially unusable.

Normally I love the app, but recently I’ve noticed some problems with it. It tells me I must update my BahnCard but it didn’t tell me how. I googled it, and whenever I swipe down on the screen in the BahnCard section of the app like I’m apparently supposed to, I get a notification that I‘m blocked from accessing my account for half an hour because I’ve tried multiple times to unsuccessfully log in. And the BahnCard still isn’t updated.
Missing a round trip option

When planning a trip, I often want to book a train home at the same time. I can’t find this option in the app.
