I have been using dark sky for years now. I love the watch app and general excellence of the data. I find it to be the most accurate and comprehensive app for weather. Easy to use and intuitive functions.
I really wanted to like this app

But I’ll be deleting it soon. My area is under a tornado watch which is important but for some reason a flood watch is the only thing listed. Also useful data like fronts simply aren’t here. Make this a more data filled app like WU used to be and you will have my heart and loyalty forever! Also don’t sell it to the weather channel! Kthx.

This used to be my go to weather app. Now the developers pick and choose what alerts you receive. I have to use other apps to learn my area has a winter weather advisory or a high wind warning which is a surprise to me but dark sky wont show it. They need to let the user choose the alerts to be all shown or not. Messaged developers and was told they try and only have users alerted by the more severe alerts so user doesn't get too many. I think 50 mph gusts the next day should be a warning that should be alerted to the user. Every other weather app told me about the high wind warning and my winter weather alerts it not dark sky...

Dark Sky has the most accurate short and long term forecasts of any weather app I have used.

I have other weather apps, but this is the one that will tell me "rain starting in 15 minutes, stopping 20 minutes later." Not always 100%, but usually 95% accurate! I don't like to put chihuahuas out in the rain for obvious reasons, but with this app, I can time their trips outside so they (and I) stay dry. The forecast seems to be updated at least hourly or much more often in bad weather. I live near San Francisco on the coast, and even live weather forecasts are not specific to this area. I recommend this app to everyone who prefers not to get wet!
Temperature for Washington DC is -109 degrees

Interface is fine but data quality needs to be improved.on 03/22/2018 the minimum temperature for washington DC suburbs is showing as -109 degrees. This is unacceptable during the Nor’easter.Please fix these QC issues.

Dark Sky is predicting a low of -104 on 3/24/18. Better leave town for awhile. They might be off 165 degrees.
Incorrect weather

The weather for Tuesday according to this app is -96 degrees in Pittsburgh and a high of 101 degrees. For a paid app it should work.
