Inconsistent and sometimes insane weather reports

I've noted a lot of inconsistencies in the weather reports of current conditions as compared to other sites that seem to be much more accurate. This morning I was entertained with a temperature of -40°F when it was 30°F outside. Apparently Saturday will range from -99° to 40°F, Monday from -75° to 40°, and Tuesday from -22° to 94°. Since I live in New England and not Hell I think it may be a tad bit off. Now that is weather reporting you can count on!

I’ve been using Dark Sky for years now, on the advice of an Apple genius. After looking at my first question was “do you ride motorcycles?“ That should tell you everything you need to know.

It is not going to be -97 degrees on Saturday. The data for this app has been seriously off these past few weeks and you are going to lose a lot of customers/users.
Right to the point in an easy going way

I love how the entire app gives you all the accurate information you could want in a way a friend would. I was surprised the first time I got a notification that light rain would start in 10 and last 15 minutes. It did just that and I was hooked since then. The simple b/w graphics are easy on the eyes and mind. Highly recommended.

The weather information is just so darn accurate! Every now and then it’s off, but that’s understandable. I love how clean the app design is. Clearly communities key information without a lot of clutter. I was so excited about the Apple Watch complications (where the temperature shows on the watch face). But the temperature is wildly off for some reason. The app says 58 degrees, the watch says 28. I hope it’s fixed soon so I can use that feature.

I want to like it but there are some items that need updating 1) it says light rain when it is downpour in my area 2) it accurately gets my location but the city is wrong. It’s probably because I’m in a rural area

As part of my job I sit looking out a window and Dark Sky is so accurate down to the minute about impending changes. I love to see”Rain coming in six minutes which will last 11 minutes”. So very accurate.

App has not been accurate at all lately. Raining outside and no indication of rain in the app. ???
