Obviously, Covenant Eyes was made for kids to not watch porn. I am the kid in the family. LOOOOOL I FOUND A WAY AROUND IT LOOOOOL

I appreciate the app, but it’s frustrating to use. It loads pages slowly, crashes sometimes, blocks sites for no apparent reason, doesn’t allow integration with an adblock, and it doesn’t integrate super well with IOS (understandable considering all it has to do). This is one of those reviews that you’re thinking this person just whines about everything :) Maybe I do, but I want covenant eyes to be seamless and do it’s job! I want what it offers and will continue to use it, but dang, make it better!
New update is a mess!

I used to love this app. This new update is a mess. It crashes almost every day. I get pop ups making some websites unusable. For example, an Amazon pop up saying you have won a $1000 gift card. My wife never get these on the same sites with safari! Please fix these issues! Also with the addition of VPN my phone is much slower!
Works but...

This app renders the phone almost worthless. Slows it, drains battery, can’t message, or watch YouTube or any streaming service such as Netflix. I hate it.

Update: ever since Covenant Eyes upgraded to having their app use a VPN, the app has been unusable. If there is any way to have a non VPN version, or maybe just rolling it back until completely fixed, that’d be much more helpful than using an app that effects the workings of the rest of the phone negatively. It’s very difficult to say, but only the desktop version is worth using at the moment; it reflects poorly on a company of believers (if I haven’t seen I apologize) who at least will not communicate with their customers on the issues plaguing them. Especially in an area destroying lives the ways it does.

Dear Covenant Eyes, Please make it so that there is an option to turn off the YouTube safe mode in the app. I’ve have used YouTube and been a YouTuber for a long time. Many videos that aren’t inappropriate are marked as unsafe. This causes them to be unseen by whoever is using the CE app because it forces the safe mode on the YouTube app. I love the feature but sometimes I need it to be turned off. Until YouTube fixes their algorithm and properly marks videos mature or not mature this will continue to be a problem. Thanks for all you guys do.

Covenant eye is a software that is good for blocking sexual and unwanted images on you cpu and smart phone. However, it does affect your other software and makes it difficult to use your programs.
