VPN is buggy

I agree with other reviewers of VPN update. It’s awful. I have to delete the app to use other apps at times, for example Google Maps a couple days ago. Please create an option to turn of the VPN until y’all have figured this bug out, otherwise, it’s unfortunately awful.
VPN Kills Phone Connectivity

VPN was the worst thing that could have happened to this app. The concept is great and the feature works well for accountability purposes. VPN itself absolutely kills all connectivity to internet connection across the entire phone. Even after switching "auto connect" off, the feature will turn itself back on and kill internt connection in all other apps.

I’m updating my review because it’s been a month and VPN is still horrible. FaceTime, iMessage, basically anything web based does not work unless you’re connected to a WiFi source. I thought there was something wrong with my phone until on a whim I deleted covenant eyes to see if that did anything. I will not use this app again until something changes. I’ll be canceling my subscription if an update doesn’t come out by the end of March. My phone is useless when this app is installed.

Covenant eyes blocks literarily everything I look up on my iPad. I hate this app, I want it deleted from existence, whoever made this app was an evil, evil, cruel individual. Who ever made this app I would like to run their hands over with a lawn mower, cram a crowbar down their back and never mind I just hate this app. By this app if you want to say goodbye to everything you watch on your device. Whoever made this app was obviously a very horrible criminal.

I sometimes get a warning from CE When i go to websites I normally go to. It’s aggravating. I just want to go to the websites I need smoothly.
Good idea, bad execution

Their newest update (using the VPN) was terrible. Half the videos I want to watch online are unavailable, even though they contain nothing bad, and the update causes my battery to drain much faster. Good idea, but poorly done.
New VPN does not allow use of gps
mapless in new town
With the new VPN, I have not been able to use google maps, Zillow, or yelp. The VPN function does something to block the gps location and search function within these apps and doesn’t allow them to function. I’ve been a subscriber of covenant eyes for 8 years and really appreciate what they do, but this really limits the function of a phone. Whenever I turn the VPN off, it automatically turns back on thus not allowing for use of these apps. Is there another app that provides accountability on your phone?
