Still can’t purchase comics through the app!
PatzGuy

I deleted this app but came back to it (thanks DC app) but apparently you STILL can’t purchase comics directly through the app just gonna stick to physical reading if I have to go all over to purchase anyways..

Ugh?
ziegenbagel

The website works great but this app…I go to my series and pull down to update and it says last updated 4/28/21, about 10 months ago. But it just tried to update forever and never shows any of my purchases since April of last year.

Update is coming
FallenEris

Just fyi Amazon has already announced they are doing an overhaul of the app. Should be coming this month or next. Originally was fall 2021 but was pushed to early 2022.

Invincible
just a comic reader

I feel like the invincible comics should all be unlimited or free I mean it’s a prime exclusive and I can watch the show I pay for my account and your telling me I have to pay another 5.99? For something like that?

Purchases will not appear
Bwhittyboy22

Every time an automatic purchase from any of the series I subscribe to takes place, it takes weeks or months for it to appear in the comiXology app. It appears day of in the Kindle app though. I’m on a 3rd gen iPad Pro 12.9 inch.

Let us buy comics
Doomsattack

The very least you can do is allow us to buy comics off the app. Seriously what’s the point off having a comic book app if we can’t even buy them off the app?

…wait - what? ?
DrgMe

Soooo, you pay for a subscription to read comics…only to pay for more comics within the app? ? Lame. Just charge Me a subscription fee to read whatever I want. Money on more money isn’t a bargain

Incredibly misleading concept “comixology unlimited”
davie4

If I made something called movies unlimited and slapped a subscription on it people would assume it lets you watch movies on it for free for that price. This app under that comixology unlimited concept just tricks people into thinking it is more than it is. Sorting also felt lacking so if I wanted to look up say manga I get a massive alphabetical list of tons of things that I can presumably purchase and some may be free others probably not, but who knows the UI has no real indicator and scrolling through hundreds to thousands of listings just to pay anyway isn’t worth it. Just use kindle to read or read elsewhere because this app isn’t worth it.

All my books dissapeared
Mikethestampede

Just went to read something on my ipad after not using it for a few months and all books are now gone, on device on cloud and reinstalling / re logging did nothing. Cool.

Worst user interface of all comic book apps
batfan9631

Had trouble with other 2 big boy (DC/Marvel) apps about where my digital content went and the response came from Comicology. They claimed they always created snd ran their apps. If so, then whey can’t they make this app as user friendly as those. Now that DC has no direct market for digital that carries their name you can’t find a list of all their stuff. You have to go to each title. Used to be the most accurate list of what was new each week was their own site/app, now that’s gone. Thankfully Mostly everybody else has not abandoned that approach yet. And then there is the difficulty just trying to read a comic. And the support can be defensive and rude.
