It plays music. That’s about the only thing they got right. The UI is an unintuitive mess. Finding songs by artist that actually made the song can be overly complicated almost by design. Navigation is wonky as all get out and again, seems like it was designed to be this way. Creating playlist takes far too many button presses per song to ever be considered useful and honestly is the main issue affecting almost every thing with this app. Takes way too many presses to get where you want to go and hear what you want to hear. But it does play music so I guess that’s a bonus. The service itself works great with Echo device’s and I think the app was an after thought and was never intended to have a user interface. It was just thrown together when they realized not everyone wants to speak to their phone to find music.
I like this app. The recent upgrade to all HD makes it buffer like crazy. I did a 3 mile run and listened to TWO songs title. ALSO...I pay for a family membership...yet there is ONE profile. So my "soundtrack" station is full of craptastic music that my 16 year old listens to. For the price, there should be a way to have multiple profiles so that music can really be tailored to the listener rather than just the music streamed.
It keeps saying it needs to update the library! It won’t run! What the f? It’s still updating after a day on wifi!
I used to love this app but the new filter/sort is terrible. It defaults to their standard display after each session and I have to make 2 or 3 selections before looking for what I want to play.
I’m so tired of the song skipping and random stops. I’m tired of being told to clear this cache or delete and redownload. It’s a beautiful day and I just want to jam while I do yard work. Instead I’m wasting time looking for music. Lemme know when you get your act together, Amazon.
