I used to love this app but as of lately it's a hot buggy mess. I literally can't log on to the app anymore. The stupid app doesn't recognize I have cellular data or wifi. Amazon needs to fix this asap

The app refuses to refresh or allow any books out from archive to be downloaded from the cloud. I could delete the app and try again I suppose, but that means downloading all my stuff again and just forget it. I’ll deal with it some other month.

I used to enjoy comiXology. I moved over fully when the DC app shut down. Comics are now difficult to purchase and when I do, it is hit or miss on getting them into the app. I wish I had another option.

I literally have to connect to a wifi for this app to let me log in?? what was the point of me buying a cellular version and taking my collection to go if I can’t “go” anywhere. And I just finish making a purchase on their site ☹️☹️☹️

So when is the update?

Like everyone else lately I can’t log in. They’ll certainly take my money for a comic, but it’s been two months since an update and plenty of people having the same problems…

Awesome but frustrating

I got this app at the start of the month to read the Invincible franchise. I loved how the app worked, the variety of things it had (everything from Spawn, Godzilla, Image, Marvel, etc).. however, it would not let me borrow “Invincible Volume 10”. I figured it was not available. However, it would not let me borrow or even purchase ANY comic. I decided to delete and redownload the app. It refuses to recognize my amazon account because of the characters it forces me to type. No matter how many times I type it correct, it denies me entry. I want to love this app and did briefly, but I cannot give it a positive review until this security bug gets fixed, and until I am able to borrow/purchase things again if that happens.

I love the selection of ComiXology, but ever since merging with Amazon, the app has been kind of a mess. You can’t buy through the app and when you borrow off Amazon, you can get caught in a cycle of restarting apps. The only comics I can read are ones I bought 5+ years ago.

Netflix of Comics and Graphic Novels

True, Comixology Unlimited is in fact not unlimited. However, it provides a good selection of comics and graphic novels. It is particularly interesting to learn about new series without committing to a $10 or so graphic novel and then learning that you do not like it. The price is right. My major complain is the limited selection of languages besides English. There is for instance hardly any German content. I saw a good amount of Belgium content in French, though. Reading a comic in its original language is a particular delight.

I lost all my purchases within 24 hours of buying and could not reach a representative in their costumer service line after trying for over 2hours and being left on hold. A scam disguised as an app.
