Misleading

cownose007

It’s like Prime Video. Some of the comics are “free” with your $5.99/mo., many of them are not.

Great idea but falls short

81artmonk

Great idea but too many comics not available to read. Says unlimited, but is very limited. Thought I was paying for unlimited comics, what you are really paying for is a limited amount in each category.

Would be great if it ever worked

Evilspoonz

Almost every time I try to use this app it simply cannot load any of the content. The Discover/Browse tab is completely empty and the search tab just shows the spinning wheel for eternity so there’s really no way for me to actually find and read comics on it. I’m sure it would be a great app, if it actually worked.

Completely broken

Emf715

I’ve used the app for years and have hundreds of comics in my library. Latest update totally broke the app. It now fails to open at all. Unusable.

Library missing on ios

Ninteen84

1 star for the fact that I can’t access my library on ios. If I log in to comixology.com, I can see my library, and clicking read even redirects to the app. But it won’t show up once it does. There isn’t even a menu option to restore my purchases.

Bought three books and couldn’t read any of them

Mage Nerson

I bought the Injustice Year Zero bundle and for whatever reason I’m unable to read any of them on mobile which is the platform I bought them for, what am I supposed to do

Calling it "unlimited" is disingenuous

Smokey Jef

I recently got more into comics, so I came to this as I wouldn't mind paying a monthly fee for unlimited comics. It's limited. Very limited. Spawn, a series that has over 300 books, only has the first FOURTEEN available under "unlimited". Back to piracy, I guess.

Awesome app

I LOVE THIS APP

Can’t buy comics in app.

amz07

Can’t buy comics in app. Comics purchased on the website won’t load into the app.

I am rating the service not the app

111Superman

This is about the unlimited service not how well the app works. First I am a big fan of unlimited services. Pay once per month and use as you like. I got Netflix it has a lot of stuff I like. I also got Spotify and it got a lot of stuff in my favorite genres. When I heard of this unlimited for comics I was thrilled. I could read my favorite characters in single issues, series and catch up on the history in graphic novels. So my favorite character is Superman so I will be reading mostly Superman. First most grafic novels were not on the list. Second a lot of Serials were not on the list, And single issues also lots not a lot on the list. I not looking to see exactly which stories had missing issues. Just saw a small list. That means it not really unlimited. If I read the ones they got I be done soon. Not a lot to look forward to. It not like Spotify if I like an artist most if not all is stuff on the subscription. Really popular people have every track they recorded. Netflix may not have every movie but if I pick a genre I have so much to choose from you can look forward to new stuff. This service Comixology makes me want to buy a lot, but with an unlimited subscription you should not have that many things you need to buy because it on the unlimited list. Sorry it list of Superman is disappointing. Second I just got an Amazon Paperwhite and even thought they own comiXology you can’t read it on the device. I know it looks better in color and I can read it on my firer or iPhone but it be nice if you could. In conclusion when you are paying a monthly fee I should get all if not most of a characters comics with out having to buy, and at least the company who owns it should at least make sure you can use it on all the devices they own. Since comics are read it should be on all there devices you can read on. In conclusion I will skip the app and buy each graphic novel and single issues over time. All so I will use the Nyc public library to read them as well. They may not have a huge list but it free to join and read. So what ever they got and what ever the quality of the reading is it free. I would be willing to pay but they got to get more Superman.
