I’ve loved this app for years, but on my iPhone X it’s become useless. Runs horrifically slow, to constant crashes and cocoa error -1 and inability to save images. I have nearly all the packs, yet despite the $ and long term loyalty, I’ve started looking for something else to use.

so I posted a review a few months ago about a glitch I was experiencing with the app, I received an email promptly from the development team asking specific questions about the problem and they were very attentive. I was impressed by the level of care with which they addressed the issue. now I am wondering, is it possible to add a self timer feature? or maybe an apple watch extension so you can take a picture from the watch? it would be nice to take group pictures and selfies from farther away.

Hands down, the best app for your iPhone! Have been a long time user, since the iPhone 4, and it still remains my #1! The care, and tutelage the developers give this app on a CONSTANT basis is bar none. No one even comes close to the perfection of this app! Consistent updates, wonderful add on paks, and stellar customer service, will forever make this my “desert island “ app! Love it, love it, love it!
Used to LOVE this app

I used this app for years and absolutely loved it. But for the last year or 2 it does nothing but crash. I can take a few frames and then it crashes. I have an iPhone 6 and hope that when I upgrade my phone, the app will work again. In the meantime, I’m very disappointed.

I’ve been using and enjoying creating imagery with Hipstamatic since 2010, when I first discovered the app while leading a photo tour in Morocco. What originally drew me to the app was the look and feel it had like a separate and unique camera, and the unpredictability and fun of pairing the many different lenses and films. So I was very disappointed when I started experiencing continued crashing over the past months. I first contacted Hipstamatic Support in early August and received an immediate reply from Allan. He asked a lot of questions and then, had me do a few tests, and also had me send him some diagnostic information, which he then passed on with a log I sent him, to Hipstamatic developer, Ryan, for investigation. We communicated regularly over the next month, with Allan keeping me up to date on the progress they were making with the crashing issue. In late September, Allan wrote that they had an update to Hipstamatic that was in beta testing and told me that as soon as that new version was fully tested, it would be sent to Apple for approval. He said they hoped to have the update out soon. And now, with the update to Hipstamatic Version 352, it appears that this problem is solved! Thank you, Allan, and the rest of the Hipstamatic team, for your hard work on my behalf..and for the many, many photographers who have been creating with this wonderful app for so long. I’m glad I was patient!

Please tell me that you didn’t REALLY get rid of the Incredibooth App I loved that app SO much & used it often but trying to make space for an update temporarily thought I was deleting it but now it’s nowhere to be seen in the apps store. I had paid for almost all the additions too. And now I all I find in its place is your video version with everyone’s reviews conveyed has some advertising stamp on all of the photos. What happened to you guys? Hipstamatic is still a great app but dang?!?

I used to LOVE this app. Now it only works sometimes. When I says “works” I really mean “saves”. In work mode it’s fine. I’m able to get everything done, but then when I go to SAVE it, it crashes....MOST of the time. Every now and then it will say or I’ll just do a screen capture as it’s trying to save. Very sad. This used to be my favorite, and now it’s the worst. Fix it and I’ll give it 5 stars, gladly. I WANT this to go back to being the great app it used to be. I don’t want it to fail, as it has done thus far. I’m not going to use it for a while until it gets fixed.

Really great photo editor with lots of capabilities. Only problem is, it crashes 9 times out of 10. Really wish the developer would figure this out because it’s a great app that I’ve only really been able to use a couple of times.
