Misleading Product

I downloaded Hipstamatic Classic for my iPad and watched the opening FAQ. Unfortunately, my version does NOT have a Editing Suite, a Pro Camera, and even after deleting the app and re-installing it, the errors persist. Customer Service has been absolutely zero help in this matter, even after I sent them detailed screenshots as they requested. What a rip off!

I’ve invested quite a penny in this app and I liked it until I cannot get my pictures from my 200 library and it is a shame it’s been 2 months and only got warnings about help but not help at all!

UPDATE 11/4/19: After the latest update, you can’t scroll through your photo library without the app crashing. iOS 12.4.1 and iPad Air 2. Still crashing and not fixed! Same problem with viewfinder in landscape view when using classic. DEVELOPER - pay attention! I’ve sent you logs, etc as requested. Why respond like we’ve never discussed this?

What fun it is to use this app! My new phone was not finding my previously purchased films or lenses and Allan in Customer Service replied immediately and provided clear, concise directions. Highly recommended!

I can edit only iPhone shots without issues. My paks are not working for my camera photos. App has been a huge disappointment lately. Issue has not been addressed for some time now.
Black Friday Specials a Lie!! $5 instead of $1 Each

Just went to buy the Black Friday specials in the app which is all Retro Paks for $.0.99. Great deal, was going to buy them all but every one I tried to buy wanted to charge me $4.99 each instead of $0.99, so I didn’t buy anything.

A great concept: instead of applying filters and frames, your hipstamatic camera has lenses and films and you can swap before or after a shoot. Add an occasional flash when you feel like it. You will see the result immediately. Except when you change the look of your camera, it’s just for aesthetic value. Of course it is a bit over the top to buy all the hipstapaks, since you already have so many photo editing apps with filters on your phone/iPad. But this concept is irresistible and fun. Enjoy it and unleash your creativity!
