Suggestion - give a warning!

both Mixbook and Photobookamerica give photo warnings if a particular uploaded photo is too low-res and at risk for a bad print... or they recommend you replace the photo if it appears the printed version will not look like the onscreen pic (the image is too small/low-res). a couple weeks ago, my last Chatbooks order (#1912981) had this issue. the photo appeared fine on-screen, it came from the exact same batch as the other photos, yet, it printed terribly, with ugly awful pixelation... i was very disappointed. had there been a warning or flag telling me to replace or delete it, i could have saved an otherwise perfect and beautiful photo-book.

I feel like every time I want to get into this app, something new happens. First, I wanted to set up an automatic book from my Favorites. The app had to sit there for HOURS with the screen on and the app open to sync all my thousands of favorites. It also crashed after every 500 photos or so, so I had to babysit it while this sync happened. Then after all that, I had to go an individually delete all the old photos I never wanted to have printed anyway. Next, they sent me a book full of someone else’s pictures. When I contacted them, they spent a good week asking me questions before sending a replacement.. to the wrong address. It took 3 weeks to get that issue resolved. Now I get a message every day that some photos haven’t been uploaded. They don’t say which ones and the only solution is to leave the app open (they suggest overnight!) or contact customer service. So I’m contacting customer service yet again and it’s the same friendly but unhelpful back and forth that I’m so used to now with this company. I was ready to give up after the first problem, but I kept giving them more chances. For something that promises to make photo books easy, I can say they do not deliver on that promise.

Busy mamma, haven’t had time to make my baby’s photo album. I have made a book for his first year and just finished making his 2 book for pictures taken during his 2nd year.

i can not describe how terrible this app is - so annoying to use. every single step i took in creating a VERY SIMPLE photo book took a bunch of times before it would actually save (i.e. if i tried to crop a photo, i would have to crop it a minimum of 2-3 times before it would save, and sometimes i would have to do it almost 10 times before it would save). made what should have been very easy into a very frustrating and time consuming project.
