Complete and Utter Crap

Playing the game. Opponent moves the robber onto my number 8 green. Dice rolls 6 straight 8s and 2 of the next 4 rolls are 8s. The statistical odds of this happening in a fair game are ridiculously high. But, in Catan it seems to happen regularly. Complain and they will tell you with a straight face their game metrics aren’t rigged. Calling a giant BS!

Bots cheat

I’ve always enjoyed this game but the level of cheating by the bots is unmistakable and ruining the fun of it. Seems worse now. They each play about 3 or 4 resource monopoly cards per game while I have it none or 1 time. Every game. And they play numerous wedding cards while I have none. They always end up with the most powerful mining and trade based cards while I end up with Intrigues. And they successfully guess which resources I and the other bots have the most of, almost all the time. I still win a fair amount but the cheating is so annoying.

Dice not random!! Fix the game please!

Very fun game but it’s terrible that the dice are not random. Some numbers repeatedly come up and others never are rolled. I hope this is fixed soon.

Doesn't work as expected

I purchased this app but am unable to play online because when I created a new account the verification email never got sent. I purchased this app thinking I would be able to play Catan with my family, but my family members are unable to transfer this app to the new Catan Universe app.

Paid for both Classic an HD. Can’t log into either. Won’t let me start a new account. Have tried sending a reset to my email multiple times. Not sure where it goes. Have never gotten an email to reset my password. Wish I had my $10 back for two apps I can’t use. I wouldn’t spend your $$ here. Try something else from a different developer. I can’t even find contact info to get help. TERRIBLE!

I love the board game. So when I started playing the app version on a long distance flight, I was very disappointed to see all the glitches that pop up. The app developers have a lot of work to do to resolve these issues. Hopefully they do because I could see myself spending a lot of time playing.

Great game play, but not with expansions

Catan has worked flawlessly in classic mode. However, playing with 3 people and an AI using the seafarers expansion, the game is prone to errors and resultant loss of game play :(. In one case the game play was stuck on the AI with the circling graphic and was there persistently despite trying to reset the server connection and the game was LOST. Another time, the play simply stopped on the AI player and the game was lost. If programming bugs could be fixed this would be a 5 star game. For now, I would not waste money on the expansions for this game as the bugs can destroy your game without warning.

The cards have too much influence on the game. I like them, however the cards in a live game are less annoying

Catan is one of the best board games ever, but this port is flawed for one main reason. It is a 100% guarantee that the instant you start to build a lead or have cards in your hand, the cpu will roll non stop 7’s and rob / block you into the ground. It is horribly absurd and single handedly submarines what could and should be a great port
