Loved this app! Used it regularly. It was free until today. Now they want $8 / month for $40 / year!! That’s drastic. It’s unfortunate that I will no longer be able to use the app.

This app was solid, if not frustrating & pretty basic before the paywall was introduced. 8 dollars a month is a joke for an app that I wouldn’t pay 5 dollars for outright, let alone a subscription fee. Looks like it’s time to find a new caption software ?.

I’m not sure if there is a limit on how many free videos you get, but after about 10 videos I can’t do any more without paying. It’s a great app, but I don’t want to pay $7 a month to caption a few videos

Great App, Except for the Subscription Model

This is an amazing app to auto transcribe your videos. Unfortunately, I uninstalled it after it was paywalled recently. I’d gladly pay for it as a one-time purchase, but I’m not signing up for yet another monthly subscription. I’ll have to stick with TikTok’s transcribing or use CapCut.

Ridiculous! Now you’re charging us to make our videos accessible to the disabled community? Why would I pay $8 a month for an app only worth $5 a year? Hearing impaired people utilize captions so they can be included in social media platforms, they are 5% of our population. So now I have to pay to create accessibility for deaf people. Uninstall immediately!
