My Favorite iOS/iPadOS Mail app by far

I was looking for an app that had a number of nice features that made me dislike email just a little less. I primarily use ProtonMail on mobile, but wanted more for my other applications offered, or didn’t do well. I tried a number of well reviewed apps, and hoped I could find “The One” I could use on my MBP. Apple Mail, Gmail (forwarding other accounts), Newton, Spark, and more I can’t think of. Spark was close, but no dice trying to use it with Proton Bridge on my MBP. Enter Canary. I think a couple days of on again/off again tweaking to get the layout right, but I feel like Canary Mail really is “The One”! It’s amazing on mobile, offering more than I would expect, and even better on MacOS - I’m currently running a beta build of Monterey and Canary’s been perfect! Just a couple small pieces of feedback to see happen to make this really close to perfect: 1. The “tweet” sound for received mail is great, but not available on the MacOS version. 2. Add the ability to add a folder on the fly in accounts that support it. Otherwise, I think this is basically the perfect email client for me and I’m glad I made the purchase!

Love the idea but does not work well. More QA is needed. - Made sure to follow setup on MacOS and iPhone for syncing and it still does not work consistently - When creating new emails and sending them out successfully it will leave multiple drafts

I have been looking for a good email app and have forum “A GREAT EMAIL APP” This is the best $20 bucks I have spent in a long time…. Thank You
Ongoing issues

While canary has many great features, works for the most part, and one of the very few with GPG support, it still has a lot of issues. Still getting a “yo-yo” effect in the message list. There are sync issues resulting in missing emails. It often “deletes” emails inappropriately and out of sync. Email attachments often reported as corrupted by receiver. Often unable to download attachments Canary still lacks a true template function. Could really use that with dynamic/magic text for easy and quick messages. UPDATE 11/07/21: “yo-yo” effect seems to have been resolved for now. Sync issues persist. Email attachments still being reported as corrupted, plus attachments sent from other clients do not show as attached in Canary. Still hoping for these get fixed and for better template functionality.

Looking for better motivation filtering

I love the app, however I am an avid Spark user. The notifications I get from canary include lots of newsletters and sometimes spam. Is there a way to manually mute email notifications or edit the notifications filters? Also can I set my default view to unread emails only? Big fan of privacy, I just want more features. I love Pro though!
Inbox vanishes periodically

Inbox is completely gone… have had this happen several times. Need to delete the app, reinstall and reconfigure my email to get it to work again. Has happened several times in past few weeks. I would like my pro purchase refunded. Used this app to access critical emails and unreliable so far.
