This app so easy to add recipes that I use and be able to find them. I tried other apps other the years, but several months into a keto diet, this app was recommended. It does help check me on track and log my nutrients

This app suggested I eat 800 calories a day to get to my goal, deleted it immediately

The app has the most features compared to other nutritional trackers, especially with the micro nutrient tracking. It’s also easy to read and use. However, it’s starting to feel like the UI is showing it’s age. A modernized update would be really appreciated, and 120hz support on iPad and iPhone 13 pro would be a huge wishlist item. But as far as functionality goes, this one can’t be beat

Love this app from the mineral and vitamin breakdowns, RDA recs, TEF and thermogenesis breakdowns. The only think I need now is (in the Energy Settings) something between moderately active and very active. Maybe an active setting at about .725 or so. I know you can put a custom number in but I prefer the presets. As a nutrition student I am loving how this app compliments my learning. Looking forward to future updates.

I live the app but you need to update the food selection I want a wider variety of food and I wish there were more features for free.

I have been using Cronometer both personally and professionally for around 5 years now and I can't say enough about how wonderful this app is. I have a PhD in nutrition and teach college students a 'Nutrition 101' class. Each semester my classes do a dietary analysis project where they track and learn about how they eat--and how well nourished (or not) they are. We used to use one of the 'gold standard' programs--that had been used by dietitians and researchers worldwide for years (called Nutritionist Pro.) Problem is, it was unwieldy and not user-friendly. Enter Crono. This app does everything that Nut-Pro did and more. And what I love about this app is that they constantly make it better. I have been in touch with the company over the years about certain features. I sometimes deal with students with eating disorders and often it is triggering for them to monitor calories. Crono came to the rescue and added a feature where you can TURN OFF this output. So someone who wants to learn more about they eat but not focus on fat and/or kcals, can still learn about the nutrients they are getting. Everything about is fantastic--you can add notes in your food log area, which is extremely helpful--rather than just have a long list of food items or ingredients, you can add a note to separate out the meals 'breakfast', 'lunch' etc. Or include a synopsis at the top so you don't have to inspect the ingredients to figure out the basic meal pattern you had that day. Most of all is the emphasis on micronutrients. Most apps--and most people--wrongly focus on the macronutrients. But our cells need all the essential micronutrients to function so our body systems can do their thing...Crono makes this so visible and easy to interpret that it's invaluable. Also it updates AS you enter foods, so at any given time you can monitor your status. Some apps wait till the end of the day to reveal the nutrient analysis. Highly recommend this app.

Lots of food choices, easy to change amounts, easy to go back and edit, fits a lot of info on the screen but the layout is clear, a ton of nutrition info is easily accessible, app reacts quickly. Bottom line: Cronometer is easy to use in real life.
