Love the App for keto

jahhebv

Love that it lets you set goals for macros and use net carbs. Also love the copy paste feature so you don’t have to enter the same foods every day. All my Fitbit data comes over as well so the two apps work well together. The food look up serving options on some foods is limited so sometimes have to use oz or tsp and convert when you really measured in a cup but cup is not listed as a serving option. I really prefer the previous version over this current one. They put the macro details (which I use often) further in the app so it takes a couple more clicks and scrolling to get to them, Bummer. I also wish it had more trend graphs, but hey it’s free so I’m not going to complain too much!

I recommend it

I enjoy that not only does it breakdown all your macronutrients that you are getting but it goes by your specific dietary preferences as well.

Update ruined it

This app would have gotten 5 stars from me before the update. It really does a wonderful job and I still use the website constantly. Now almost anytime I try to scan an item it just loads and then gives up. I’ll have to scan multiple times and what used to be seconds can take minutes. It’s very frustrating because some things have so many options it’s hard to figure out the right thing. Hoping that this gets fixed along with the crashes.

Loved it until the UPDATE!

I loved Cronometer so very much until the recent update. It WAS better than My fitness pal due to it not being punitive and actually showing you your actual deficit. NOW if you go over it gives you a red exclamation point and says the word OVER! This is not psychologically beneficial. Before it would tell you “you need to burn 100 more calories to reach your goal” which was so much better and encouraging. Positive reinforcement works so much better! Also, having to do math on the app to see you actual deficit is annoying. You can go on the desktop to see your deficit but I would prefer it back to the way it was on the app. Developers, take notice!!!!

Incorrect info

was a good thing

I’ve been using this app for a month or two now and I’m finding with a couple of items that I actually double check the Nutrition information on it is incorrect on the app according to the label. One was a protein powder and on the app it said it had no amino acids but very clearly a big label on the side listing the amino acids. Another instance of protein bar it said it had 60% vitamin C in it the app said it had zero vitamin C in it. So based on those two and a few other instances I don’t put a lot of trust in this app.

Love this app

Player2579

I have been using this app for only 2 days but I am already loving it. This one is by far the most friendliest and easiest to use. This app makes me want to continue logging in food again and again. Does not feel like a chore as it did sometimes with other apps I tried. And it was nice to receive a welcome email from CEO. Made me feel important to the community and the developer. Thank you for making this wonderful app!!!

Really great for tracking

YogiGirl20

I find this super easy to keep me on track of my nutrients! Really easy to get a good idea of your daily caloric consumption!

IHATE the latest update. I lakes the old format. There’s no way of adjusting the amounts. You guys really ruined the app. I will delete when I find a different one.

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE

At the end of my first month, I emailed them to cancel and was promised by “Cassie” that she canceled it because it wasn’t possible to cancel on my iPhone 8 w/the latest IOS version. Even sent her a screenshot to show that their instructions were wrong. Guess what! No cancellation. Still being billed and they claim that can’t cancel or refund me.
