Great Idea, even better App.

Simply put, it's awesome. 5 Stars. There is room for more features, but there always is :) in my eyes. Great idea and even better implementation of it. Can't wait for Version 2 then more people can see how sweet the app is... And then I can use it more often in the Metro Boston area.

This app is great. The response time is impressive. I made a report for a pothole and it was fixed the next day! Other cities and towns in Mass need to catch on.

Great way to get the City to work for you!

I'll admit I was a bit skeptical about this app at first, but it's turned out to be a great way to easily report issues and concerns to the City of Boston. All the reports I've made so far have been followed-up on quickly and successfully (thank you, city workers!). The app does a great job of tracking reports, ongoing status, and completion. I highly recommend this app to any Boston resident, and suggest that other cities adopt it, too.

nice idea, no action

My students (grade 3) and I were very happy to be able to use this to report all the obscene graffiti on our play yard. Too bad no one has responded/ taken care of it. Very disappointing for the students too as we have sent emails and letters regarding other serious issues to the mayor over the year and have received no response. Guess the kids have to learn a lesson about politics and 'the little people' sometime, just stinks it has to be at age 8.

It actually works! And fast!

I reported a really bad pot hole while walking to work in the financial district. The next morning the jackhammers where there fixing it. Very fast. Dunno if it was because of location or safety reasons (it was scary deep) but, you can't get a better response than that.

I've used this app a total of 6 times. When I reported a pothole on a Friday afternoon, it was filled Monday morning! The rest of the reports have been for graffiti in my neighborhood. The response for graffiti took longer, since the city has to coordinate cleanup with the building owners, but all of the graffiti was eventually taken care of.

This is a fantastic idea!! I've submitted a couple requests. Some were taken care of in under 24 hours. I'm still waiting on others after a month. But I really appreciate the city working this hard and innovating with new technology. Very impressive.

I used this app just this week to report a mountain of snow blocking the sidewalk. One day later the City comes with a huge truck and carts away the mountain of snow. I have also used it to report broken parking ticket machines and in both cases the city made repairs within 24 hours. This app is should be on every Bostonians iPhone.

Version 2.0 crashes

OK, this app worked well until the new update - now it won't even open. However, as many pointed out just because one can submit a complaint does not mean City Hall will do anything about anyway... so maybe the fact the app no longer functions doesn't really matter anyway.
