i take bolt bus monthly btwn portland and seattle and love it. it's reliable, fast, affordable, and most of the time the drivers are really great. but their app could use some serious attention! it doesn't work well-- the 'remember me' feature doesn't work and i have to log in every time. there is no option to save my payment information. sometimes it lets me get all the way through the booking process before prompting me to log on at which point i have to do the whole process again. when entering address and payment information the screen doesn't follow the fields and i have to keep pressing done to see what i am entering next. there's much more to be desired in this app, especially since the function it serves is pretty basic-- buying something online is something a million other apps and websites have managed to figure out how to do like ten years ago. hire some quality developers bolt bus/greyhound and make your app more functional!!
Great alternative to lesser bus services

I have used bolt for a few years now, and I have to say, it is by far my favorite way to travel. I have only travelled between LA and SF, so I can only speak for that particular route, but let me tell you, they are ALWAYS on time, friendly, and courteous. I like how they arrange the boarding by letter and number, it feels organized and thought out. The outlets have worked 99% of the time, and so does the wifi. The seats are comfortable and the space is decent. As far as the app is concerned, I do enjoy it. I wish there was a way to reset my billing address though so I don't have to keep retyping it in(I have since moved from the address they keep autofilling). Anyway, I recommend boltbus to all my friends and family, and would suggest it to you too!

I've used this bus line many times to get back and forth from DC to NYC. If my schedule changes they are always willing to put me on a later bus. Never any hassle.
