One of the best

One of the best fitness apps I’ve used. I can not recommend highly enough. Very thoughtful workout planning. Takes into account joint issues, sore muscles, flexibility, and more when designing workouts. The workouts are actually doable which keeps me on track. If I’m sore I can tell the app which muscles are sore and it will recalculate my routine. I have the premium membership. It was expensive but it was soooooo worth it.

Love this concept!

I love the idea of workouts based on fitness testing and that adapt to your progress. I did have a hell of a time getting the program to recommend enough cardio but finally it seems to be working. I will follow its recommendations for a while and then update this review .

Keeps me motivated

I love this app! It’s the perfect fit for what I was looking for to get back in the groove of healthy living.

love the workouts but the app wouldn’t let me do the exercise i added to my workout and wouldn’t let me end the workout with out deleting all the gains i had made that day - frustrating

Could be great but algorithm a bit off

First off I love this app. Getting back in the gym was daunting for me. I’ve always hated it because I didn’t know what to do once I got there and can’t afford a personal trainer. This app originally fit that need. However it’s been almost a month now and I’ve only worked on upper body exercises. I’ve completed the fit tests that have come up but I’ve done ZERO leg exercises. I changed my tailoring to primarily core and lower body focus but it still only workout arms, chest and back. Based on my activity level it adds 30 mins of walking at the end of my workouts but still there’s no exercises focused on lower body movements. Oh! And the nutrition portion of the app is horrible. Scratch it and start over. It’s super confusing and doesn’t make sense to me at all. I’ve paid for the annual subscription but I’m really starting to regret it.

Incredible

Love how Bodbot tailors the workouts based on my input... if I’m tired, if I want to workout more. Still impressed after a full year of using it. Best New Year’s gift to myself ever!

The workout UI is not very user friendly. I LOVE all the options available to tailor the workouts. I went in to look, just curious at what it was giving me, and I was clicking all over the place and got stuck because I was in a rest timer...please add a “start/stop workout” button as well as “restart.” I clicked through something and it won’t erase that I’ve supposedly done that exercise. or Excited to try, but hope the UI changes a bit.

Great concept, but needs work

I love the idea of this app, I have been looking for an app that will push me in both reps and weight while being dynamic to how each workout effects me. However, the app itself is a little rough around the edges. I would change a few things in the work out based on gym available equipment and then something would happen and it would all reset. I also would like it to be able to talk to you so you know how much is left on time for an activity or when your rest time is over.

Where’s my cardio?

Ktootie

I’d love to give this app 5 stars, but for the life of me I can’t figure out their approach to cardio. I’ve tried selecting just about every “goal” available, to no avail. I might get one run a week if I’m lucky, and that’s “sprints.” I’ve tried emailing and received no response at all. There is an “endurance running” goal, but that really isn’t what I’m trying to achieve. Seems very odd to me that a “lose fat” or “lose fat and gain muscle” or even a “cross training” goal would not include cardio. The app also doesn’t seem to be registering information from my Apple health app and is not able to connect with my Garmin watch. On the other hand, the actual exercise routine and the way the app helps you by increasing reps or weight based on your reporting of how hard a set was is great. Want to love it, but, where’s my cardio?
