Just as a good personal trainer will personalize your workout plan, we create an individual program for you and adapt it as you progress. Limited range of motion in the shoulders? We can work to correct that. Weaker in the back than in the chest? We can address that. Hamstrings too tight? Want to develop the biceps or the glutes? Can only workout in a few windows during the week? BodBot can handle it all, and your workouts will reflect all of these needs. We're committed to providing you with the best possible training plan and the very best workouts. More than this, if you miss a workout, or if you decide to go hiking on a whim, we can integrate this new information and update your training plan accordingly. The plan lives and breathes with you and for you.

So what distinguishes a modern, science-based, intimately personalized training system? What does BodBot do - and why does this matter?
■ Personalization matters. If you broke your leg this morning, you probably shouldn’t be attempting heavy squats at night. Similarly, if your sleep has cratered for the past week, or if you suddenly come down with a fever, the previous trajectory of your fitness - along with last week’s view of this week’s best training plan - becomes obsolete. You need a recommendation that reflects your new circumstances.
■ Everyone has a different history: variations in posture, strength, cardiovascular fitness, range of motion, joint stability, joint mobility and much more. These variations matter. Rather than overloading a weak and unstable joint or hammering an already shortened and tight muscle, BodBot will work with you to improve performance and increase efficiency - through targeted fitness tests and objective assessments. This is not the hand-waving personalization of other fitness apps. This is modern, high quality physiology and kinesiology realized in intelligent training recommendations.
■ Accessibility matters - if you’re working out at home you should still be able to get a high-quality, targeted workout - not an arbitrary infinite loop of burpees, wall-squats and crunches. BodBot’s database of broad and deep exercise profiles, together with the sophisticated algorithms that run over the top of them, seamlessly handle changes in location and equipment. Similarly, schedules can run tight and can change - if your default Monday, Wednesday, Friday pattern is interrupted, or you suddenly have less time available than expected, BodBot will immediately adjust your training plan.

Gotta pay for a subscription
xlSuper_Monkeylx

The best part is the app states if your paying for a subscription it’ll give you more incentive to get my butt up and exercise. Well explain my gym membership I have had since 2014. So no I’m not spending anymore money on a subscription that I probably won’t use

Good app with potential to be fantastic

Being a kinesiology fanboy i love the apps adaptation and have seen some awesome changes. My background and the good: A year ago i decided to train for a triathlon and i happened upon BodBot. A week later i found out i have FIVE grade 2 strains to ligaments in my knees and multiple tears in my rotator cuffs in my shoulder. Triathlon was put on hold. Shortly after starting my PT i also started using BodBot and had immense gains beyond what the therapists ever expected. I love how the program is working towards changing my structural imbalances and building better posture. The bad/frustrating: 1) Goals...they aren’t the same between the app and the website. Make the app have all options available on the website! 2) testing...we have two sides to our bodies...allow for bilateral testing or training to enhance body balance and symmetry. 3) what always drives me crazy is that i have manually set the length of a workout to 60 minutes (home gym, body weight and bands only) and the routine is habitually 80-90 minutes almost always caused by 30-45 minutes of cool down stretching 4) Timer has to be started for each set after the rest timer expires. Have a warning sound 5-10 seconds before starting the next set. 5) sets that have timed reps (ie bird-dog, interval running) should have a timer with sounds just like stretching. 6) include injury input so the app learns that when your reps or weight suddenly plummets that it can build the surrounding areas (ie mcl strain - work the hips aimilar functionality to Physera) Fix that stuff and i will be your biggest fanboy ever.

Even better than a personal trainer

This app is amazing. It considers your kinesiological status in it's recommendations and adapts everything while you work out. You always do the best workout for you personally, on each day. $60 for a year of BodBot or $60 for a single personal trainer session? Feels like that choice is easy.

Just started but great so far.

Haven’t worked out in quite a while so the exercise regimen chosen for my activity level was perfect. Will write another review when I have more experience with the program.

App charged even though cancelled

I cancelled my subscription during the trial period and was charged anyway. Their customer support won’t even respond to me.

Awesome with a simple, major flaw
Settabyttam

The workouts for both home and gym are great. However, make absolutely certain that you don’t start your workout unless it’s set to your preferred gym or home because it won’t let you change it after the workout has started so you either have to scramble to the gym or just miss your workout for the day. I guess it’s not really a big deal but it’s super annoying to me.

Amazing

I’m a PT Student and it’s clear knowledgeable PT’s consulted on this app. The most impressive part to me is the adaptive feedback and PT tests incorporated to design a workout perfect for you and your goals. Dreamt of an app like this for a long time.

Best workout app ever.

This app is so convenient. I loved all the at-home workouts! The free personalized training and nutrition plan worked great for me during the trial. The Bodbot team was also very kind in assisting me to get a refund when I decided I no longer wanted the app. Especially, Ginger :)

More coverage please

Great app. I might unsubscribe because the women are nearly naked. Really?

Looks are deceiving
Baseballa15

Easy to navigate. Says it connects to Fitbit but it does not, Nutrition is horrible to add. Can’t just search meals or baked chicken it just lets you choose only specific options that are unrealistic for most people. Does not save workout equipment that I have able to use so most workouts I am skipping what the app says and doing my own workout which I was doing before purchasing.
