Works exactly how I need it too.

It’s awesome to be able to check my miles of charge left and warm or cool the car remotely. Loving my i3 and no issues with the app what so ever. Have not dived further into the app options and features. The features I use work flawlessly.

App Crashes - Needs to be more reliable
Concerned User User Beware!

When the app is working it’s ok, however now it’s crashing 1-2 a week and down for weeks at a time, enabling access to the most basic features like current charging status. Get it together BMW. This application needs to be much more reliable.

Does not update in background
GregoryXandrew

PLEASE make this app update in the background, and specifically when I raise my wrist to look at the status on my Apple Watch. Right now it’s useless and redundant with SOOOO MUCH POTENTIAL!!!

A few issues: login, charge start/end time
FHY@SMTH

I really want to see the following improvements: 1. The fingerprint feature is great. But the app randomly forgets my credentials and I have to re-enter everything all over again, which is really annoying; 2. It would be great if I can set the following things remotely A. Charging start time B. Charging stop time C. Start charging now D. Stop charging now

BMW should do better!

The idea behind the app is great and it gives some interesting information. I rate this only 2 stars for the following reasons: -no update since June 2015? That's unacceptable considering that apps should at least keep up with IOS updates every now and then. -iPhone 6 / 6 plus has been out for over a year and a half and yet application still doesn't go high resolution and looks really ugly on the screen -it takes a little longer than I would like for car to "obey" to functions -refreshing the data is hit or miss...ok mainly miss I would say data from car is updated 10 to 20 percent of the time. I want to assume it has to do with car being idle ? -rather than one horn would have liked possibility of sounding the alarm horn from a distance. -as others have said notifications for fully charged battery should be implemented. A no brainer -I haven't had the chance to fully test out the navigation options so I won't judge -why not integrate the connected apps in that app (Amazon music / Google etc...) I really hope they will consider an update soon! My disappointment is that we are spending some major cash on these vehicles and BMW should do a better job on their apps and what not.

Embarrassing companion app to a luxury brand
Dansker for Beer

On the upside. the app kinda works, it show you the last trip stats most of the time, and it do the cool range calculation overlaid on a map. ON the down side, the max range driven is frozen, the filter in the map for chargers are at best flawed, and BMW should review their sources as its missing even BMW branded chargers. some of this is bugs clearly but for the cost of the accessory car for the app.. it would be good if the app worked. I don’t really hate the app, its just kinda useless and falls in the same category and the promised mobility-program loaner cars which also is missing in action or at best seriously flawed.

Somewhat useful but needs fixing

The app provides some useful information about driving efficiency and charge status, but it isn't able to do these reliably. Sometimes it can't get a recent update (and provides no reason why, just says that last update occurred sometime either several hours ago or the previous day) and it loses my login information every couple days which is very annoying. I have lots of apps on my phone and this is the only one that requires me to re-enter my login and password information every couple days. Others have complained about this problem -- BMW can you please provide an update that stops losing our login information?

Please fix this app
Lcl77

This app has several issues but the most annoying for me is that it forgets my login information about once per week, necessitating me to re-login. After I'm back in, it's like I'm a brand new user where I have to again select my car and settings like miles vs kilometers. There are a bunch of screens which are useless like maps so I ignore those.

Fix the broken app.
Pointcrossed

This App I has become a useless nuisance and will impact it's convenience. I can no longer use it on my watch. If you don't care about your customers opinions on how they use your products and services and have this app, then why even bother selling cars? All features and aspects of your products affect is experience. It would be best to get rid of your app.

New version, and it still works poorly.

My BMW i Remote App has been telling me I need service, but it doesn't tell me what needs service. In the car the iDrive system doesn't say it needs service, and even though I took my i3 for service the app still says I need service. It doesn't update it gets stuck a lot for more then a day the GPS still thinks my car is parked at the last place the app worked. I could be at home with the car, but the app still thinks my car is parked at my work, 20+ miles away. My i3 has been very dependable, but the app is crap.
