I just downloaded the app for use with my new i3, and when I enter my user name and password, it keeps returning an error message saying that the password is incorrect. I am using it with no trouble at the connected drive website, but can't seem to get the app recognize me...
Doesn't work for preconditioning

It's hit or miss with this app. If I set a departure time and it happens to work, it won't let me go back an cancel or change it. I have to go to the car and cancel it under settings. What's the point in having this? My friend has a Tesla model S and the app it comes with is way more useful and intuitive than this. Get with it BMW.

My car information will now load, it doesn't give me my car's status and when it was working I found it to be very helpful, please update the app

Was useful to check the charging state while doing other things, and to turn on the HVAC so the air temperature inside was good from the start of a drive. Now simply fails most of the time. Doesn't update the vehicle status, even after a reset, reinstall, or restart of the phone. Forgets login settings and left having to login again and again. Crashes partway through remotely turning on the ventilation system, with no apparent way to fix the hang; even software reinstallation doesn't help. The worst iOS app I've used, and I've used some bad ones. One would certainly expect better from a multinational luxury car maker. Based on the many adverse reviews, and my experience with this software and indeed the software on my i3, I doubt fixes will be forthcoming, and so my advice would be to simply ignore this "functionality" from BMW. They don't take it seriously, so when you consider buying their car, you shouldn't take it seriously either.

App doesn't update anymore. I've deleted it multiple times and re-installed. It just states 11/30 last update . This app is useless. There is a bug and I need it fixed , please. It makes it difficult since I rely on this app every night.

My app is still on Nov 22, 2016 and I write this on Dec 5, 2016. It won't update my car information no matter what I do. Also, it does not have an option to override your car charging settings remotely, like every other electric car app. Overall, this is a terrible app.
Please Fix a couple issues

I generally like this app, but since the first day, some features have never worked and some work only some of the time. My vehicle is an i8, which is upwards of $140K and although the car is fantastic, the app falls short in a few important ways. On many occasions the app won't connect and get the most recent info from the car, the last updated date is sometimes a week old and is currently stuck at 11/8/2016 for the past week!!! Also, the remote lock feature has never worked. I do like the preconditioning feature and it does work. The mileage and efficiency features are also interesting. Overall this feels like a version 1.0 app, just expect more from BMW. Most importantly please fix the update issue, others are experiencing the same issue. Thanks
