Stopped updating the status of the vehicle

Same opinion as the user below. It has been serving well but exactly on 11/30/2016, it stopped updating the status of the vehicle and I can't check my charging status. I can still remotely do all functions but it is quite annoying that I don't know where I am on charging. Can anyone fix this???

Last update for the car was 11/29/16. I'm guessing the app doesn't work with iOS 10. Hope BMW fixes it soon. From the current reviews, it appears it doesn't work for anyone now.

Needs Improvement - Almost Useless

What a mess!

Doesn't make sense that you cannot remotely start/stop a charge session. Takes forever to update the status. Right now, it still shows my status @ 100% as of 7:30p on 12/1 when it finished charging.

Horrible app, stay away. When it worked a couple months ago, it was convenient. It allows me to check my car status, turn on AC/heater remotely etc... I don't know why and how, it just stopped working. Now the APP does not even update the status for you. Completely piece of trash. BMW, you can't just get your software right, can you?

Absolute useless app!!! Status never updated since initial download. Only avail info was efficiency. Just deleted and tried to reinstall and now cannot sign in at all! Cycles between "no car available for this app" and "password is incorrect". Amazing i8 with an embarrassingly poor app...

For such an advanced car, this app is pretty lame. I appreciate checking if my car is charged but that's really all it does. Everything else you might think the app does...it doesn't.

Downloaded and signed in today, after receiving my info from BMW ConnectedDrive. I was sweating bullets after seeing the reviews, but am pleasantly surprised thus far as it's working like a charm. My phone is a 6 upgraded to the latest iOS update.

Update: The sync functionality has been restored. ------------ It's a pretty useful app if you're teaching yourself to be a better e-driver, but it simply died about 2 weeks ago and won't connect to the car. As-is, there's nothing useful now. Was also useful for scheduling a departure and controlling some charging functionality. Please fix.

Locks key fob in car, won't unlock.

I used it to lock my car and immediately realized my key fob was in it. Needless to say I was highly disappointed to see that there was no option to remotely unlock the car. You can call BMW and provide your passcode but that should really be an option along side locking. I've not yet used it to precondition the car. The charger map is the most up to date in my experience, but I love PlugShare for they rating option so I can see where defective chargers are before pulling up to them. The option to rate chargers would be nice too. But overall it works to know range and watch the range increase while charging.
