App does not function well

App shows choices that can be made but does not respond when attempting to select these choices. This has been true for us with 3 different devices on two different days.


Customer service is awful

Out four shipments two had ingredients missing. One of them was missing the entire ingredient bag for a meal. Billed for the fourth box before I even received the third. Got the fourth box three days after the third, four days earlier than it should have come. Took way to long to respond to my concerns so I canceled my account and now they won’t refund my money on the meal I never got. Said I have to reactive my account and take a credit.

They send wrong, mismatched, and even spoiled ingredients, arrogantly refuse refunds, and ignore complaints. Recently I ordered a premium item for extra money and they sent a cheaper non-premium item instead and refused a refund because I got a “non-empty” box. They apparently think people use them to buy random groceries. I complained and their response was they’d give me only partial credit but I couldn’t use the credit if I canceled my membership. But why would I want to order again if they keep getting the orders wrong? This was the second time this happened. I complained again and was ignored. They also sent slimy smelly spinach once and did nothing about it. The items they do get right are cheap, grossly marked up, and inauthentic. Avoid at all costs.

Still wishing for a native iPad app… Also for quite some time now the ratings of my meals do not stick. This has been happening forever. I reached out to support and they are completely clueless, then close the Support ticket without resolving the issue. It’s been happening for a long time, and it looks like it won’t get fixed. What’s the point of rating my meals if it doesn’t stick when I go back and look at my meal history?


Interesting yet easy to make

We love Blue Apron. More variety than other plans. Great spices and add- ins. Still challenging and fun to make, but we can get a nice meal on the table in under an hour.

So far not one of my orders has actually come. They’re having widespread carrier issues that they are unable to fix


Won’t let you cancel

I tried to cancel my account, and when I navigate to Manage Status -> Cancel Account it freezes. The help chat bot works until I say “cancel” or “I want to cancel my account”, at which point it also freezes. (Same is true for the website.) Interesting.


Started ok, But service got worse and worse

Pretty expensive but worth it for the convenience or at least it was until they started having shipping problems which was also ok. But then they started forgetting ingredients and I was receiving rotten food. When I ordered the thanksgiving day meal they forgot the cranberry sauce, turkey dressings and gravy fixings. When I asked if the would reimburse me for that they offered a credit. But I had skipped my next few meals and I told them I was thinking about canceling and requested a refund instead. They completely ghosted me. I still have not received compensation for their mistake on a $100 order… be warned


Deliveries cancelled or late all the time

Bad customer service. Deliveries have been cancelled and late on a consistent basis for 3 weeks in a row. Unreliable service, very disappointed.
