It takes forever for the app to refresh from screen to screen, especially in the cart. Even on Wi-Fi. When looking at items in the cart some will show the details but others you have to click in to edit to see the size etc. An example of this is the Tri-tip special or the ribs special on Thursdays. I can see the kids meal or the pizza details but not those, which means clicking edit, waiting for the screen to finally refresh, clicking OK or editing and then having to return to the cart where the little pizza symbol flips through its slices over and over. Took me 30 plus minutes to order even with some items from a previous order and I'm pretty tech savvy utilizing apps daily to order food. Of note, not having same issue with other apps while sitting in same location and adjacent time frame. It gets three stars and not some thing lower because of the deals and coupons that are available. If not for those, I would skip the app altogether and just order over the phone.

Put in the waitlist reservation and got to the restaurant an hour later and was told the app doesn’t work for waitlist! What the heck?

My App shows I have two $10.00 rewards. But the local BJs won’t honor them. The last receipt even has on it “Redeem Reward, $10.00 reward”. BJ still won’t honor it. What’s the point of the Rewards points anyway? ? Do they want my business? Not sure I want to go back.

App works pretty good. I wish the app would have prompted me for the tip instead of automatically filling one in. (I would have left more) but other than that it was pretty seamless.

This may just be due to the poor service and WiFi in BJs but the app is incredibly slow. I love that it’s available and that I can easily pay my bill and apply rewards etc. but it took a good 15 minutes for me to pay my bill because of load times.

Put name on waitlist and waited and waited the second hostess says they don't use it! So the process wasted my time and many jumped ahead of us. Why would it allow you to use it if the restaurants don't use the app?
