Where do I begin? First of all, the user is lured in by the promise of “free” searches. But to receive any useful reportage a fee has to be paid to get the “complete”report. The fee is rather pricey if you only need the service for a month or less. And the information that is produced is at best out of date and is highly inaccurate. Case in point, I ran my own name and the report was nothing more than out of date and HIGHLY inaccurate. Looking back, I probably would have been better off using Google. At least it would have been free and a bit more accurate. To those who are considering using this app/service, steer clear of this service as well as others of this ilk.

I can’t understand when I utilized the website without using the app I was able to bring up criminal history for free. But with the app you have to upgrade.

I’ve subscribed to Been Verified for several years. When I started I got my money’s worth. Of late several inquiries resulted in no finding when I know there are criminal and bankruptcy issues. Now if I want to know more than a name and perhaps an address or phone number, I’m required to pay additional fees for each inquiry. Not going to continue this rip off. My last go round.

I paid over $106 to this site for criminal records. I tried to log on to the app for my phone, it didn’t recognize me as a paying customer or an active customer. I paid these fees 9 days ago and the site says it will email you the reports within a few days. 9 days later, I still have nothing! Still can’t log on, still no records. I contacted them to request a full refund since I don’t have anything. I got a cancellation email, that’s it! Don’t use this site or these people. They will take your money and give you nothing! Horrible!

Slick app, but the amount of information is quite small. I would rather pay for a real background check, because this app (even the paid option) just doesn’t have enough info.
