Super helpful and easy to use

Our family is vacationing in Athens. We don’t know the area at all. But this app made it super easy to hire a taxi in a city that is terrible to drive in.
Apps only good as the driver

If you can manage to actually get your driver to pick you up and not just the first person to get in, then it’s alright. The app won’t let you cancel a ride you are not on, so you can just watch as the person enjoys your free ride before you can try and get lucky with another ride. Apps a crap shoot which is what I was trying to avoid with taxis in the first place. Also kills data when looking at location.

Recommended by a YouTuber vlogger for my trip to Athens and it was great. Used it for getting around the city but it is not used in Santorini when I tried it.
Bad experience in Athens

Tried for first time. Car came late. Vehicle plates matched app, but driver was different. Driver tried to correct by making me cancel and select a different one. That failed. Couldn’t really communicate in English to figure what to do with the app. Ridiculous experience. Do not use this app till they figure the basics out with the drivers
Got cheated out of extra money from driver with no way to stop it

I just got picked up from the airport with the meter on but after the drop off the driver just charged me and extra $10 Euros above the meter. It was late and he just did the extra charge after I got into the hotel. This is just an easier way to scam riders when the ride is over. I assumed they would put in the meter rate but I was wrong and shouldn’t have made that assumption. He was a nice driver but just took advantage of a tourist coming in from the airport. Really bad first impression of the country straight from the airport.
