Is it really an app?

It loads and looks like a website which is terrible for the phone. No quick access buttons or scaled search results. Search function truncates valid search terms. Cursor in search box doesn't align with typed text. Displayed results page is a stack of images and overlapping text along with left/right column text that's not scaled properly. Really unusable.

I love B&N, but when you change the app format to looking like the website, it’s not fun anymore! Got a notification like o had an email, but it pops up as the website & there’s not a dang notification anywhere to be found!

App is SUPER slow, lags a lot with the “thinking/refreshing circle”. Other than that issue I haven’t found any other problems yet. This could be a 5 Star app if there wasn’t the slow/lag problems. I would use it all the time, but until then I’ll just go to the store 5 blocks away. Also, why don’t you have the same prices in store that are on your website?.... and why don’t you match your own online prices in store ??? Please update this app so I can use it a lot more and then I’ll make you money by buying stuff from you!

I can’t believe how terrible this app is. I need to buy a book and thought I’d give BN some business but this app is so frustrating, I cannot buy anything. Please get an app worth using.

I would rate this app four stars, mainly because it sometimes logs me out and I have to constantly log back in. Other than that it’s a very great app!!

The web page is slow. Errors and timeouts. The app is slow. Information is organized poorly. Tons of clicks to manage your account. Order history is unclear in the summary page and requires you to click on individual orders to find basic info. Searches return too many irrelevant results or show out of stock items. Other bonehead moves such as limiting the amount of gift cards that can be used and not letting them be combined online. Memberships that only give discounts in store. It's like they want Amazon to force them out of business.

App delivers search results & that’s it

Ran a search on a few titles and app returned search results. When I clicked a title, the app didn’t load anything. It just hung there.

Barnes and Noble headquarters you do know we in the 21st century and things are study changing but this app has not.. This app is very slow, crashes, and sometimes does not even open up. You have to keep putting in your user name and password every time you log in.. WHY?!? Where is the Touch ID? And How come you can not store your membership card on the app where it’s accessible at all times?!? I pay $25 a year but what need to work doesn’t work. Some people don’t have time to run to the store or go through the long process of online. The app is personal and suppose to be easy.. Fix this App!!!

Can't buy digital content!

Why would you create an app that does not allow the user to purchase a digital book? I am using a digital device. I want a digital book. I can't buy one on this app. I am amazed.

This app is useless! Nook app to read books, another app to listen to audio and yet another to purchase books....ohhhh wait...it doesn't support digital content?! Seriously?! Why cant one app do it all?! Android version does...ridiculous.
