The thing that I like best about this app is that you can store pictures along with your notes, therefore making things much easier to both identify and remember

Great App!

When Dayone updated and switched to its subscription service, I started looking for a new journaling app. I tried a lot of them with a lot of disappointment. In walks Awesome Note 2. After I downloaded it, I fussed at myself for not doing it sooner. It has better features than Dayone IMO, syncs using iCloud, and doesn't limit me to anything. (No, it does not have a Mac app but with the iPad getting better and better, I find myself using my Mac a lot less these days.) It allows me to add locations, sketches, and tags to my entries. PLUS, I am using it as a note taking app as well and its task management features make this an A+ app for me. It works very well and has become one of my most used apps. Thank you and keep up the great work!

Please fix issues asap

Hello, I just bought this app today after doing some research and found this to be the best app. After I installed and was making some changes to it’s setting and the app just crashed and kept on crashing whenever I opened it. I had to restart my iPhone X. And please update the app to use the face ID please. Thank you.

WAS! My number 1 app since I get my iPhone

“This is the app that I’ve been with for years and haven't seen any other note and todo app even close to it. It is REALY AWESOME! Always moving forward and gets better and better with new versions and till now never charged me again. I am totally depend on it and it never let me down. Great functional app and a very beautiful one! Just try it to see what I mean.” Well, that was my opinion when I was using aNote until v7. Since aNote v8 came out, I became really disappointed! The previous approach was much better! Better design, better and much cleaner event showing. The new version has some good features, but bad syncing and changed design forced me to think about an alternative. I bought both iPhone and iPad versions and sometimes even can’t sync them properly! :(

I love it.

A great App. It works better for me than any other note app I’ve tried.

Losing Momentum

UPDATE: Widget is still useless and natural language input could use some work. This app is okay. As a heavily visual person, the option to customize the backgrounds in notes, the homepage, and just about everything we're really nice. It's an all-in-one-organizer but not the "bad at everything, good at nothing" kind. It has the ability to sync with iOS, Google Calendar, and Evernote, fully customizable fonts, a universal search, to-do notes, audio notes, visual notes, markdown support, and a few other cool things.

Nothing happens

Since the last iso update I can even type my passcode in most of the time! The one time it did work, it froze on the 6th letter I typed.

Back Up your notes especially before updating this app. Use iTunes app share. Go to Awesome Note website and get the directions, or ask for help from support. If you go into the app, look in the settings and you will find the help section. Do your research and help yourself. It's very important. And for all of those who have switched from Day One to Awesome Note 2. Back up your Awesome Note 2 notes. You will not be sorry. You can back up your notes right inside the app, and transfer the backup to your computer. That is a must do in case something happens to the app. Read their website, it will inform you of many important things. I have the old Day One and so far have not updated to the new app with their subscription. I love Awesome Note 2 and will stick with it until the end of time. The customer service may be difficult at times, but I have had responses from the developers when/if I had problems. There is a 1:1 that is, a One-on-One feature in the app where you can write to the developer with feedback or if you have a problem. It's a great app. I just wish that Day One would switch back to iCloud. Awesome Note 2 still has it. Thanks so much Awesome Note 2.

Unreliable alarms. They don't work.

I used to love the alarm setting for my notes. Since the latest updates they have removed options that I relied on for my alarms. I set up many notes with alarms and none of them work. Yes, I double checked to make sure I have notifications on for the app, I do. Going to have to find me a different app.

Fail Syncing waste of money!

I would rather use google keep. It works on any device and it saves right away and you can share with as long as you have their email address.
