Frequently crashes

ebertzzzzzzzzzzz

I like the intent but frustrated with frequent crashes and logging in again each time.

AT&T could do a lot better if they actually care about their customers

Tim K's iTunes Account

Been using this App for several years because I know of no alternatives. The app shuts down just about every time I use it. It’s accuracy is horrendous. I’ve talked to “costumer service” about it and it was a complete waste of time.

Poorly designed

Comcast subscriber

Lots of bells and whistles, but not what you need. I really want to throttle my kids data speed when they hit a cap so they do not stream video. I don’t want to cut them off all together. This is something you could already do with the other att app.

TIME TO SWITCH NETWORKS!

AT&T charges a monthly fee for this app that hardly ever works. I’ve been getting error network domain messages for months off and on. I call to get technical support, no one ever calls and they can’t offer tech support when I call. Bug fixes haven’t been updated in over a year so they have obviously gave up on this app but take peoples money monthly who doesn’t realize it doesn’t work.

After unblocking kids data - they can’t get data anymore

DreamBig19(me)

I’ve called ATT NUMEROUS times to remove Smertlimits from my 4 daughters phones, as they haven’t been able to get in cellular data ever since. Att is saying they can’t remove it as there is still an active subscription through iTunes. I explained NUMEROUS times, I cancelled the subscription and iTunes no longer considers me as having an active subscription. I also clicked Close Account in the Smart Limits app, which it apparently recognized as happening because now when I go to login to SmartLimits, it says I don’t have an account for any of my 5 phones. It’s been over a month with us not having cellular data. Att first told us it was a tower down in the area, yet when I explained if I drove an entire state away that I still don’t have data. Then Att tells me to call iTunes and figure it out. ITS NOT ITUNES! I closed the account through SmartLimits app!! I’m a software engineer, so this kind of incompetence is beyond negligent. I’ve been an att customer for over 20 years!

It works, but isn’t great

Xylon Johnson

The app works (it should since it’s a subscription based app) but is lacking the one feature that I need most. I need to be able to block ALL calls and texts during certain times. The limiting feature here only limits outbound calls or texts during the prescribed times. Without the ability to blanket “do not disturb” as a parental control, this app and $9.99 a month subscription is borderline useless to me.

Can’t even log in

Randi44

Can’t even log in with my AT&T info. What a joke. DELETED. Found better ways to manage my children’s devices.

Crashes

Curtis L P

The app crashes and shuts down within a minute every time it’s opened. Then have to log back in and cannot get into what I want to see without it happening again. It’s constant and needs to be fixed.

Decent at best. $10 to mange two lines?!?

As others have pointed out this app is feature lacking. It is nice to be able to shut off cellular data during certain hours but it would be beneficial to be able to have the ability to limit use after x amount of use hours. Probably the worst feature is the high cost. $10/month is ridiculous. I’m hoping the app limits and screen time features in iOS 12 will allow me to control my kids device usage with feature rich apps and no cost.

Worthless

DysonG

Worst service ever. Added the feature but hadn’t restricted anything and it blocked the phones usage completely. Tried turning it off and that didn’t help. Tried to just remove the feature from my account and nope errors out and I have to call AT&T and get a complete run around about it
