So easy to use

Moosefairy

This app takes the stress out of tracking what you eat and drink. And with the note box you can be as detailed as you want or just quickly do the check boxes. I really find it helpful.

Great way to track food without obsessive over calories!

I really like this app. It is an easy way to track what you eat without having to input/ research specific calories, grams of fat, carbs, etc. I also love the “on path, off path” feature. I can see when I do unnecessary snacking in the day and try to correct those habits. Also, if you forget to take a picture of your food, you can add text.

One my my favorite apps

This is such a beautifully designed app. It’s minimalist, easy to use and really encourages me to eat mindfully. I also love that there aren’t ads! This app is truly a pleasure to use and such a great addition to my routine.

Game-Changer

The YouAte app has been a game-changer for me! When you can actually see what you are eating and take a picture it adds so much accountability! I love it! The support team has also been super helpful and dealt friendly! Nothing bad to say!

I wish I had this years ago!

I’m recovering from some disordered eating issues, and counting calories is always a big no no. However I find it very difficult to eat healthy without tracking—this app is the perfect fit for me and way more convenient than keeping a physical food journal on me at all times. The pictures are so much better than measuring and counting every little thing in the foods I make at home. I’ve already lost half an inch around my waist in around 9 days because of this apps support of my mindful eating. So thrilled I happened upon this app and i recommend it to anyone struggling to make the right food choices. Staying on path feels so good and so easy with Ate!

Love this app

I really love this app. I used MyFitnessPal for years with success, but I needed a method that was less anxiety inducing. The app simply asks whether what you’re eating is on your chosen “path.” The simplicity of it makes it easy to stick to but is such a great commitment device for eating healthy. My roommate is using it to try the 16:8/14:10 diet and this app is perfect because of its time feature. My only wish is that you can characterize things as drinks or snacks instead of meals.

Love it!

I’ve only had the app for a couple of days but I already love it. I’ve learned so much in just a short amount of time- like the fact that I am grazing all day long and am often eating just because I’m bored and it’s there. This is definitely making me more aware of what I eat and will hopefully help me make more informed choices. App is very user friendly and I have had no issues.

So lovely and effortless.

Hurrah!

First off, no calorie counting! That’s the main reason I appreciate this app. In my experience, counting calories doesn’t work. I forget all about what a “meal” is and don’t think about what I want. But with this app, I get to be simple, crate meals I will enjoy and even make them presentable since I know I’m going to take a photo for my journal. Also, it really has a beautiful interface! I love the color scheme. What’s nice is the app encourages you to decide for yourself whether your “on path” or “off path” and to evaluate you reasons for eating each meal, how you feel, and how the food was. Just a simple and helpful way to watch what you eat without obsessing over calories. I am glad they made YouAte! Thanks you guys!

This update is awful

It’s not working at all since i did the update

Exactly what I was looking for!

Bet @ Bet On Dinner

I love this app! I wanted a food diary thing, but don’t want to track calories or even type in every teaspoon of oil I use to cook my dinner. I love that I can quickly type something in, and the photo aspect is unexpectedly great! It’s quick to snap a picture and it motivates me to add things like fruit and vegetables to my plate since I’m visually more apt to notice that I’m skipping them and just eating a sandwich or a piece of toast. I also like the freedom to change what is “on path” for me - since it’s not specific to one type of eating. I really love the little arrow that encourages me to make a healthier choice for my next meal if I do go off path - it’s not judgy and unlike other things I’ve tried, I don’t tend to feel like I’ve “ruined” a day with one meal or food, so I’m more likely to just move on and eat something that is better for me at the next meal rather than derail and start again the next day (or week or whatever!). Thanks for such a helpful tool!
