I have hit my fail threshold

Critical Bob

I was so excited that Arc offered to import my Moves data (almost 2 years worth!). Everything seemed OK after the first few months. I have been sporadically correcting it through the painful process of reviewing its assumptions. But it has steadily been getting worse. Yesterday it claimed I had over 25,000 steps when I actually had about 7,000 (measured by my Apple Watch). The day before it guessed that my 29 mile drive averaging 43.2 mph was a cycling trip! My time is too valuable and my patience for sub-par performance is too short. Bye bye, Arc - if I have to reach out to your tech support you have failed.

Needs to much attention

RMSE

I tried to like app but it needs to much attention always need to confirm Dear Sir I have moved on and good luck with your app but it’s definitely not for me.

Crashes often then pressures you to pay for it

Miss Portinari

Pressuring me to pay $4.99 a month for an app that crashes often (daily, on average) that I need to restart in order for it to do its job and track is ridiculous. Consider that a lot music and streaming apps are $9.99 a month and Google Timeline performs a similar task (though it is done more poorly) for free. When I say I can’t pay that much, I can’t pay that much. That said, maybe consider allowing us to contribute something if that means the app won’t crash as often.

Best location and activity tracking our there

joshuaswilcox

I've tried them all, but Arc hands down does the best job accuratly telling the difference between biking walking etc. Some apps I've tried I would have to constantly change the transport type, but get it's right 99.9% of the time.

Brilliant

JoBraves09

I love this app. I’m a fan of tracking all sorts of things in my life and this is the best moving tracking app I’ve seen. I’m hooked. I hope this app gets the support they need to stay alive. It’s too good to go away. Keep up the good work!

Okay

I have used this app since moves app disappeared. I still miss moves. Sometimes Counting steps doesn’t work and it frequently died. Now I reached to the conclusion that I need to find other app that is more reliable. Another thing that I like to talk about is a donation. I know that software development takes time and effort and I need to pay for it. It would be great if I can afford to paying monthly donation as you suggested. There may be people who want donation not monthly but once or occasionally. I couldn’t find that option. If you give us an option to choose the amount and frequency you may get more supporters like me. The option that you suggested is way over my budget.

Excellent developer

App is great, but I would also like to say that the developer’s responses to trolls on here are both funny and informative. You go matt.

Crashes often and need to restarr

Koolaid74

I switched to Arc after Move shut down. Importing data from Move was easy enough but since the last update, Arc has been crashing 2-3 times a week, notifying me to restart the app. Inevitably I would see the notification late which means any location data during that period would be lost. I hope they are working on the app's stability. Until then, I can't rate it any higher. One star for importing data from Move and one for a great looking interface.

Newcomer

Just signed on for six months and really enjoying this. Excellent replacement for moves One question : is there a weekly mileage aggregator as moves offered? That would be a great feature

Too Expensive

T9001

Hooked me in as a Moves replacement, now forces me to pay an exorbitant amount. $20 - $25 a year is what this service is worth to me. At that price I’d be telling all my friends to get it.
