Getting better

eahiv

A nice toy project. Nags all the time for money, thinks I can walk 10mph, freezes, crashes, has no api.

Painless location logging

smackfu

Arc does a great job of tracking my trips so I can track mileage after the fact. Just check in once every few days and classify things properly. Only negative is how often segments get classified as cycling. Understand that cycling and car look similar but since I never ride a bicycle it seems like a simple setting could avoid a lot of data correction. Update: new version hasn’t suggest cycling lately! Yes!

Best developer ever!

Thaddeus McGiggle

This app works flawlessly, and the dev keeps listening to the users and adding in exactly what we want and some things we didn’t know we wanted. Definitely gonna donate to the cause, thank you for making not only a decent replacement for the old Moves app but a spectacular app in its own right!

Best Moves replacement

MikeS77724

This is hands down the best Moves replacement. And, it has a dedicated developer constantly shipping updates and fixes. Let’s support him financially and also spread the word so this app is here to stay!

over complicated

plundc1

was looking for an alternative to facebooks moves app (which is shutting down by the end of july (2018)), and ARC isn’t it :( it’s simply to over complicated and i am tired of having to teach it stuff when it has ‘low confidence’ (which is all the time)... and what does it take to make it show me the totals of the day? someone please just release an app that simply does what facebooks moves app does!

Private and Free

Ant Dog619

This app respects you privacy. Is low battery usage. And is minimal. Best of all... it’s free!

New update is crashing!

New update is crashing! I’d recommend holding off until it gets fixed!

Disappointed

Started using Arc since Moves is expiring. Thought Arc might be the answer. I was wrong. Not only are there huge gaps in time where the app does not track movement or record activity, it also crashes a lot. I mean a lot. When it is working the map isn’t accurate. It also seems to think I like taking several 1 minute trips on airplanes for some strange reason. It also thinks I take short car rides all day when I’ve never even been in a car. I like that I could import my Moves data, but sadly, this is not a good alternative to moves. The search continues.

Fantastic app to track daily routine

nirajd666

Keeps an excellent “diary” of my day and presents it in a very easy to use interface. Some suggestions (probably already on the roadmap): - What is Q Photo? My home was labeled as this after I gave the app permission to access my photos. It pulled screenshots that I have taken from this location. - Is there a gauge on the certainty of locations? If the certainty is low, maybe have a local notification during the event and have the user confirm the location like Google maps does. There could also be a (?) icon next to the name in the timeline which a user can click to “add more certainty” Awesome work.

Another Moves user

It took a while to find this app, but I’m glad I did. Better than Moves IMO. My only wish is that the timeline had the start/end times of each activity as Moves does; this makes is much easier to transcribe activities into my calendar.
