Why no volume?

This app works, but literally the only reason I want it is to change the volume of the tv without looking for the remotes (they like to go on long vacations at inconvenient times). This app doesn’t fulfill the only reason I need this app for. Why not?

I had been using this reliably after it inexplicably started working again. Then on the day when I leave my apple keyboard somewhere, when I get home suddenly it stops working. And not just on one device and two devices on iOS 12.4. I don’t understand the sporadic way that this app will work and then suddenly stop working. I’ve tried everything I have rebooted the Apple TV I have deleted my local area network and then re-connected to it and it still doesn’t find my Apple TV that it used to find all the time. I was even ready to increase my rating, then this happens again. This was a five-star app until I recently updated it, and it no longer connected to my Apple TV 3. What a waste. I had a slightly different review here until I saw this numbskull "no power switch on the remote app", which is got to be the stupidest thing that a Fauxnews watcher has ever posted in an app review. There is no power switch, because the AppleTV has no power switch because there are no switches on the unit, ergo there are no power switches on the remote: because you can program when the device shuts off, you numbskull. If you wanted to shut off tell it to shut off five minutes after you are not using it, that's how you shut it off-it goes into sleep mode. •that• was a bonehead review. If you want power switches go buy a Microsoft device. OK, I finally got it to find my Apple TV, and it works. But the trouble factor makes it almost unusable. And the only way I was able to get it to work was by erasing my IPhone and starting from scratch. As far as this remote app I was initially pleased with it, Then it stopped working. for almost a whole month it absolutely would not detect my Apple TV 3. I tried a dozen times to detect my Apple TV with this app and it simply didn't work. I've tried everything including downgrading to the original versions. No version of this app detected my Apple TV, then after I erased my iPhone suddenly it detected my Apple TV and started working again. I don't know how long it's going to continue to work but it's definitely not worth the trouble. I've been using my Apple Bluetooth keyboard recently, along with the remote that I programmed into my Samsung device. It's simply easier to use the remote on my Samsung galaxy tab three, which has never failed to find my Apple TV unlike the Apple TV remote or this app. Are you other issue is that there is absolutely no reason for this to be iOS 9 and above only. Please add more iOS versions. this should work from iOS 6 through 11. And there's absolutely no reason for it not to work in iOS 6 other than you told it not to in the IPA file

I have no problem screen mirroring or air playing media content on my apple Tv but i can get this app to connect with my phone, tried all your troubleshooting. Hope you guys can update the issues
Non customizable

Buttons need to be customizable. Some times the ten sec skip buttons are present and most of the time not. Very annoying
C’mon Apple! You can do better than this!

See title. Enough said. There are no visual affordances to help the user. Hard to figure out. Obvious buttons missing. Keyboard missing for password entry. Utter crap (and I am an Apple fan-boy)
