Never buy Annie baby monitor - they loot you

I was using the Annie baby monitor and was very happy with it until this upgrade happened. All the good features of the earlier version isn’t there here , why is this called an upgrade? Don’t buy Annie products. They’ll take your money and then downgrade the app and call it an upgrade and you would have paid $$ for nothing.

Terrible app?

Dave B..

The latest upgrade is a total scam. The previous app software was licensed from another app developer, and it was good. However with the latest version, they stopped licensing the good app/software and instead built their own which is absolute garbage. Lacks 90% of the feature tue previous version had. Customers that bought it previously were completely scammed/frauded (like me). ZERO STARS

Dislike recent update

Piratess_h

I loved using this app before it was updated several days ago. The camera worked great, I could see how long my son had been making noise for, and I could change multiple settings. Now all of that is gone, the camera only works some of the time, and my devices have difficulty connecting to each other. I wish the update would be reversed and go back to the previous version of this app. It was perfectly fine just the way it was.

Issues with new version

Many problems with the new app. Didn’t load well. Old login didn’t work. Has to reset. Video wasn’t working. Very disappointed.

DO NOT BUY or Update version 4.0

Everything was fine until this so called “All New” updated version. Most original features got stripped off. No more remote/off wifi network monitoring unless pay a subscription. They got greedy. The newly designed interface is hideous and useless. You’re no longer able to track how long your child has been sleeping, can’t play music on the child’s device anymore, no more dark screen mode on child’s device, and the child’s device camera does not rotate to landscape. You have to constantly login every time using the app on all devices. It’s basically only good for noise detection. I can just use the FaceTime feature on iOS to do a better job than this child play paid app. Wish I had never updated it. Will have to find a way to roll back to its previous version. Most disappointed app updating ever.

Serious Disappointment

I bought the full version of this app three years ago to monitor my first child. The app was buggy then, but worked relatively well for the year I used it. I recently welcomed my second child and began using the app again. It seemed that many of the bugs from three years ago had been resolved... until the most recent update. For two weeks I couldn’t log into the app. It didn’t recognize my credentials and threw an error when I tapped the password reset link. Today I was finally able to reset my password only to find that I get 30 minutes free monitoring before I have to re-pay for the app. ?‍♀️? Additionally, when I close the app and reopen it, I have to re log in. Customer supper has been virtually nonexistent. Users have been instructed to reach out to customer support with the assurance that issues will be “resolved in moments.” I sent an email about my initial login problems got a very generic canned response with useless troubleshooting tips, including the direction to try deleting and reinstalling the app. Currently, this app is unreliable and utterly useless as is their customer support.

Dislike New Version

Do not like the newest update (2/14/19). I liked on old version how when you open the app you decided which function the device you’re on will do (be the child or the parent). Also liked how you used to be able to mute or talk or turn off the video. Now you have to watch the video and have to listen. You got rid of too many things. ☹️☹️ also annoying I have to log in every-time.

Don’t waste your money - downgraded to free after paying for pro

seraphie11

I originally purchased the app back when it was $6.99 and was guaranteed the “lifetime account”. It was great and served my needs to monitor my twins with wonderful features. They recently updated the app (Feb 2019) and took the paid-version features away, reduced this app back down to “free” version, and released a new “pro” version that costs $3.99. Annie is now forcing me to pay another $3.99 in order to get back the EXACT same looks and features I originally paid for when I first downloaded the app. I am not talking about using the app for cellular data, as that is a legitimate payment plan. I used it for Wifi only and they still would force me to pay for another app. Don’t buy this app. Go to another baby monitor app developer to spend the same money. This developer will probably do the same thing in the future and release a new version and force you to spend money again.

Terrible

Pamdc83

Terrible app. Only works over WiFi (half the time) even though before the update it claimed it also worked on LTE. They recently ran an update and it said we had to pay again for a membership that was supposedly lifetime. Don’t bother wasting the money. There’s many more reliable apps out there.

Not backwards compatible!?!

juygnbhu

You broke compatibility with the older version that I had installed on my iPhone 4. When I went to install your new version on the iPhone 4, I’m told it’s incompatible!!! Where can I download the previous version? The new version is useless to me.
